The Kodak M340 digital camera is just okay. I purchased it two years ago when I was going on vacation to the Bahamas, and I wanted to take pictures there. It is truly nothing special, and the pictures are not very good quality. The lens on the camera is also not very great; it does not always zoom out like it is supposed to. I really would not recommend this digital camera to anyone. It is not reliable at all, and it just is not worth the money, although it was cheap. Image Quality The pictures were not very good quality at all. I have owned digital cameras that took much better pictures than this one. Performance The lens does not always zoom out like it should, but other than that, the camera works exactly how it is supposed to. Ease of Use This digital camera is fairly easy to use as long as the lens works properly. Durability It did not last very long before my lens ended up not working properly. Battery Life The battery life is average. Portability This camera is definitely very portable; it's very small.

I have had this camera for awhile now and it takes okay pictures but after awhile the lens just broke on me. This break was not due to a drop of the camera, just one day the lens would not zoom out as it is supposed to. The quality of the pictures and ease of using the camera is great while it lasts. It has many photo features and settings that I never used, but face recognition is great as well as the flash. Great camera for average person wanting to take quick snaps and upload them onto facebook or twitter.

I like it. The camera only has about 10 mega pixels but I think it's a good starter point and shoot camera. I would definitely recommend this to anyone just starting out with a digital camera. Kodak makes taking photos easy with their easy share and of course it's easy to share photos with people you know online. Image Quality The camera takes up to 10.2 megapixels and HD potential (I haven't seen the HD but that's what they advertise). Performance It doesnt freeze or load slow, which is good. It will load slow if you need to charge your battery! Ease of Use Very easy to use! Durability My daughter has dropped it a few times, still works and I've had it for a year. Battery Life I don't go long with out charging it, but I keep 3 extra in my camera bag just in case. Portability It's a nice size, can fit into medium size camera bags.

Really easy to use. Especially for easy for people that just want to take a picture and go. My husband and I both think it is just want we wanted. Small, but takes excellent pictures. It fits in my purse or pocket without being heavy or taking up a lot of space. Would definitely recommend it to my friends to buy.

I used to buy Kodak brand only because it is easy to use.  I can download the pictures online with ease.  The Kodak website is very nice.  Like many online photo site, you can edit the pictures, print the pictures, make photo books, and send slideshow of the pictures to your friends and families.  The menu button on the camera is very user friendly - kind of like Camera for dummy - easy to understand and navigate.  I like the dock that it comes with so that I can put the camera on a counter up rather than laying it flat on the table.  The size of the camera is small and compact - can be carried around everywhere easily.  The style is nice too and they offer a variety of colors.  However, one thing I notice is that it takes a long time to take the picture.  And the flash is not working very well.  Sometimes the pictures look darker than it is with the flash then with no flash. So, this camera is not so good for indoor pictures.  But definitely a good choice for beginners or young children. Image Quality I have seen better image quality from other cameras. But for the price, it is decent. Ease of Use It is easier to use than many other cameras. The other cameras are more complex with all the features. Durability I still have a kodak camera that I bought 7 years ago. I don't use it but it still work.

My kodak camera takes great pictures, and video. The software it comes with is easy to use and has many great features. Support was great when I needed it, only had to send in my camera once and it was quick and easy.

Of course my camera died on me just 2 weeks after my son was born.  I knew that I could not go without a camera!!  So I did some research on cameras that were in my price range and this one won.  I did not need a really high tech camera nor did I have the time to sit down and try to figure out how to use one.  I wanted to be able to take simple pictures of my children on those special occasions.  Simple as that.  I found that this camera was easy to use.  The menus and options are easy to understand and find.  You can easily turn it on and start to take pictures at anytime.    I have had this camera for over a year now and have had no problems whatsoever.  My eight year old daughter even knows how to use this camera.  she may even be better at it then I am.  I think that is camera is a good camera within its price range.  I would definately reccommend this camera for someone who doesn't need the top of the line camera!!

I own this camera and have traveled with it for about a year now. It has been to Africa, Central America and more with me. It has gone to clubs and been dropped, it has been to the desert and filled with dirt. This is a tough camera, good for someone who wants to travel or take it out for late nights. It also has a great feature - panoramic shots. These shots take a few extra seconds but reveal breath-taking scenery. One last benefit - it is easy to use and download pictures with.

The **Kodak - M340 Digital Camera is great to have! For videos and pictures. I enjoy the rechargeable battery, and the picture quality. This was my first camera I bought myself. And I do not regret it at all. I bought the purple one, and it served me WELL for almsot 4 years until I accidently broke it. It takes amazing videos and I like that it is small enough not to get in the way of anything in your pocket. The color is outstanding. And it is very lightweight to be so great. It is very simple to use and very fun. I Love the HUGE screen it has too. It is also very very thin, which is great. It is all around a great camera and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS. Even when you are moving the pictures are still.**

This is a great little camera for the average person. It works well, navigation is easy, and is extremely user friendly. All the reasons I don't particularly like it are due to personal preference. I'm listing size as a pro only because most people would consider it a good feature. I was actually super disappointed when I got the camera. I had ordered it online, and one of the reasons I chose it was it's huge screen (LOVE this feature) and it looked like it would be large and heavy. It's feather light, too, which again, is a pro for most people but a disappointment to me. I use this camera mainly for semi-professional quality picture of merchandise I sell on line. It has a macro function that takes awesome photos for this situation. Also, my hands shake very badly due to a permanent side effect from a medication, and this camera has a "steady" function that makes my shaking not a problem. This is a very, very wonderful feature. Overall, this camera is a good pick for the average person who wants an easy to use, good quality camera with a great array of features.
