This is a decent and good camera, but it has issues charging and keeping a charge for any amount of time.  The pictures come out great and it's easy to use for the not so digital knowledgable person.  I did get a good price on this camera and bought my mother one at the same time as a christmas gift.  She's not into technology at all and loves this camera.  She too has a little issue with the battery power of the camera.  It also has a lot of good options like, auto focus, zoom, a few flash options, 1 minute movie recorder, and a date and time stamp.  The screen is a 2.7 inch which is definitely a good size to view your recently taken pictures.  With 10.3 mega pixels, this camera gives you great picture quality.  You can also add a SD memory card for added storage at little cost depending on the size of the SD memory card.  I think the best feature on this camera is the auto focus.  It's helped a lot when capturing words in a picture.
