I love this digital camera, it takes great pictures, the 5x zoom is excellent and the Lithium-Ion rechargable batteries last for a very long time.  The preview screen is a good size and I like all the different picture settings you can choose from.  It takes good video but you have to have the right lighting, it won't do well in dark areas.  I got this camera in a bonus package with the software, all cables, Easyshare printer, camera bag, tripod and cleaning kit.  The Kodak Easyshare software is very user friendly, it's easy to edit pictures including automatically removing red-eye, and you can choose a variety of different picture effects.  And the Easyshare docking station makes recharging the batteries and uploading pictures quick and easy.  I did have a problem with the Easyshare printer and had to send it in for warranty work.  Instead of fixing the problem, they shipped me a new printer and sent me 2 new cartridges and photo paper for it just for my trouble.  They really took care of me!  All in all, I can't ask for anything more in a digital camera.  I won't buy any other digital camera but a Kodak digital camera from now on!

I have a newer camera that I got last summer - and yes it takes photos much faster and has a higher pixel rate but I love my Kodak Easy Share Z700 Digital Camera.  It takes great photos and prints them out quickly from the dock.  The point and shoot feature is great.  The memory card makes this the perfect camera for taking photos to share.  The memory card can go from the camera into the computer without missing a beat.  Or I can plug the USB cord in and transfer photos that way.  It's easy enough to use that my youngest daughter can take basic photos.  And sturdy enough that I'm not afraid of her breaking it.  The dock prints very nice quality photos on Kodak photo paper.  This is a good camera for someoone new to digital cameras and printing at home.  It is great to be able to print without needing  a computer to do so.  The prints are great for scrapbooking and very economical to print.

I'm always wondering what I'm issing in technology these days and I like the fact of having a digital camera around that is portable. This camera has so many great functions and is very easy to use. It has a quick easy zoom, the functions work quickly and it has great picture clarity in the view before taking a picture, on the screen and the pictures that develop are just wonderful and so full of color and life! I also use it on my computer alot and it's quick and easy to hook up and transfer my pictures. I just click on the pictures I do or don't want and then they are quickly uploaded which is very nice! The camera hardly has any weight to it and it isn't bulky. I also like the fact that it has a wrist band with it that is securely attatched. I'm able to store many pictures and add a memory card for anything extra that I'd like to save from the camera to use on the go. I like this camera so much that I plan to purchase the dock for it!

I've had this camera for around 4 years now! It has never let me down! For a lower-end camera (not SLR) it really does an awesome job at capturing the moment. It has numerous different settings you can choose from, including sport, nightime, portrait, landscape...etc. It is also GREAT at helping one learn the basics of photography because it enables the user to play around with settings such as f-stop, bracketing, exposure, ISO, etc. I didn't realize all it  could do until I looked at the user manual one day. From then on, I've done so much with my Kodak. I've even taken some amazing HDR photos! People don't believe I've taken the photos with this camera. It doesn't look very imposing, but it is! I have learned a lot by using this camera and still have not explored all there is for it to offer me. It is amazingly easy to use and fun! It uses a simple SD card so you can swap out the photos onto your computer for an easy upload!

I have had the Kodak EasyShare Z700 for about 4 years, and it is a terrific camera.  It withstands daily use and holds up well. Some other good qualities are: - It is easy on batteries, so I can get a lot of pictures out of one battery set. - It uses AA batteries so when they do run out, they are easily replaced. - The buttons are easy to use and conveniently placed, everything from the review and menu buttons to the zoom function. - The pictures it takes are very clear and of good quality. - It comes with a great computer software that allows editing of photos. - The zoom function allows me to take pictures from quite a distance away that still turn out well. This camera is absolutely a great buy.  I have gotten years of use and thousands of wonderful pictures from that usage.  I could not ask for a better digital camera for general use and I would definitely recommend it to others.  This camera has served me well for everything from weddings to graduations.

I bought this camera as a gift for someone, since I wanted to buy something not too simple and not too bulky and complicated either. I finally decided to keep the camera myself! I was impressed with the zoom and lens, but disliked the fact that these features could have been made available in a more sleek fashion. Anyway, I trust Kodak more when it comes to cameras from larger segment when compared to smaller segment where all seems equal.

My son got me the Kodak Easy Share Z700 for Christmas when I could not decide what kind of camera I wanted. I loved it right away. It takes great pictures & videos. Has lots of settings to help you fine tune your pictures. Very user friendly. The sound on the video is good, too.

Great lens and optical zoom.  The camera is great for the price, a morph between a high end digital slr and a compact camera.  Numerous features that are useful, more than you need but still great.  Not impressed with Kodak easy share software, bulky and slow software.  Difiitely recommend Kodak digital cameras though.

The Kodak EasyShare Z700 has many bells and whistles, but the most valuable one in my opinion is the 5X optical zoom when most cameras have only 3X optical zoom.  This allows your "eye" to get 5 times closer to the object than it really is.  That is great for pictures of animals that scare easy, or just zooming in to get closeups.  This camera takes videos with audio that can be replayed on your camera, your computer and your tv.  There are several picture taking modes that are easy to get to and easy to understand.   Some of my favorites are; S*port* for objects in motion, *Party* for indoor settings with lower light, *Landscape and Night Landscape* for distant scenes day or night, *Close-up*, and *Self-portrait *mode.  Using the features of this camera and the software that comes with it, even the most novice user of us all can take and make great pictures to share.
