Digital Picture Frame

3

I received this kodak digital picture frame as a gift and I was really excited at first. It's kind of a hassle to get your pictures on it but whatever, I was still stoked because these things seemed so cool. Once you get it set up, it is very inventive but really it can only hold so many pictures so you are beginning to see the same ones over and over and over again. I also noticed that the screen was not the greatest quality and I could see the pixels in the pictures. I was not impressed with that because I expected this to look and have the same quality as a real print. But it really didn't. Overall I was not impressed with this and I wouldn't purchase one for myself. Cool Idea though.

good and bad frame

3

Good and Bad picture frame to have for family albums. The good part is that the pictures in this frame display very clear and have lots of colors in the background, which is good. It is easy to use also for putting pictures into the frame to set on display. The bad parts about this picture frame is that, first of all it is very small and will not fit big pictures in this frame. Very negative concept for that. Second its not the most durable frame to store any small pictures in, one little touch or mishap can brake the frame very easily. The durability on this picture frame is not worth to buy. Third, the design of the frame is very dark, I do not like a dark frame set with a great quality picture. Overall, I would not recommend this picture frame, because of its size and how strong it is over time in holding small pictures, which it can only hold small pictures. This product though would be good for just easy picture storing of basic pictures either with a friend, or just of doing anything, but I would not store family memories or memories with best friends in this picture frame. I do not feel comfortable with how small and the color of the design either to use.

Kodak Easy Share Digital Picture Frame: A nice gift

4

I recieved the Kodak Easy Share Digital Picture Frame as a Mother's Day gift a few years ago. I have to say that while it is a nice photo frame and all, I've found myself to be more of an "old fashioned" type of girl when it comes to framing up pictures of my kids and haven't used it OVERLY much. I've found myself framing more pictures the old fashioned way than trying to load them constantly onto the digital frame. The photo frame was easy to use, once I found a spare outlet by my computer to plug it into so it could synch up with the system. Ever noticed how the outlets around your computer just seem to get taken up by things and disappear on you? Anyway, the software seemed to be able to find the frame, synch up with the computer and transfer photos just fine, which is always nice. I can't figure out a few things with the frame though. For one, some of my pictures are just flipped sideways and I've had a heck of a time figuring out how to get it to flip them the other way and many times just end up removing them. Now mind you, this might not be the photo frame's fault as my old digital camera would do funky things with picture formats sometimes, but it's still annoying. Another thing that annoyed me is that trying to wall mount the sucker without an ugly cord sticking out of it somewhere. I had to mount it high on the wall to get it so that the cord would pop up from the frame a LITTLE bit before getting hidden by a window type opening in my living room. And then finding a nearby outlet to plug it into without running out of cord was sort of a pain as well...one extension cord later and it was fixed, but a longer cord option on the frames would be nice too. Honestly, I think these are probably more suited to put up ON furniture where you can snake the cords behind the furniture to hide the cord instead of wall-mounting them, but I didn't have that option unless I wanted my kids to destroy it. Overall though once it was finally set up, plugged in and working it seems to work just fine and it's sort of nice to be able to just watch a slide show of my children play out from a photo frame instead of having to sit at my computer watching my screen saver. It's not a bad gift to get any parent.

The Kodak Digital Frame is fun

The Kodak Digital Frame SV811 is a good deal for the money because it lets you do a lot and is not too dificult to work with.  However if you are not technically inclined, it can be a bit of a challenge, but worth it in the end. The results are great once you get your pictures loaded in and figure out how to work with them.  There are lots of selections for changing the display speed and how the frames display, which is fun.  Also, the Kodak Easy Share editting software is pretty easy to use and have fun with.  All in all, great value for the cost. The only problem I have is that I cannot figure out how to get the audio part of the frame working so I have not been able to display my pictures to music.  This is a disappointment to me.  Maybe I have just not figured out the download from my computer correctly because I am not that technically proficient, although I download to my Ipod regularly and I would not think this would be too much harder to figure out.  However, even without the music, I like the frame a lot.

FUN PHOTOS ALL IN ONE PLACE

I got my Kodak EasyShare Digital Picture Frame from my son for Christmas....I love it!! I don't like a lot of clutter in my house, but still want to show a lot of pictures of my friends and family. This picture frame allows me to display hundreds of photos with one frame...no clutter! :o) The frame is very nice looking, doesn't look cheap and lets you change the matting to match your colors. You can put music to your photos if you like and it plays in a constant slideshow. The pictures are very easy to download. You can put a usb device in and it takes them right from that. You can add and delete photos at anytime. They make great gifts, especially for grandparents or someone overseas. You could purchase it and put the photos on it before you send it to them....grandparents would love opening it up and already having the pics on there. I know you can also do stuff from the Kodak site with it, but I haven't gotten to that yet. Great for small spaces when you don't have a lot of room for a ton of picture frames everywhere.
