My favorite thing to use this mixer for is making frosting! I used to hate making homemade cakes because it took so long to whip the mixing using a hand mixer, but with this I can just turn it to whatever speed I desire and leave it to do the mixing for me. I love cupcakes and now I make them all the time. Mixing Performance Great mixing, I can leave it on for 10 minutes plus and it doesn't become hot to the touch. Ease of Cleaning Sometimes it is a bit hard to clean the spring that the different attachments are fixed to. Ease of Use This is probably one of the easiest standing mixers I have ever purchased. I like that the mixer has levers rather than buttons to increase the speed and lock it in to place. Design This mixer is one of the easiest mixers I have ever purchased. I love to use my mixer. I do a lot more baking now that I have gotten it. My family enjoys eating what I bake as well.. Clean up is so easy even my 18 year old is starting to use my mixer. I appreciate all the colors that it comes in. The attachments that you can purchase is just amazing anything from grinding meat to wheat.

My fiance' and I purchased this model about a year ago for our anniversary gift for ourselves. we chose to purchase a household item that we knew we needed and something that would last. I use this almost every night either to make creamy homemade mashed potatoes, My pizza dough, bread dough or my fiance's delicious cookies or coffee cake. This is not just an appliance in our house it's a necessity in our kitchen. We love our Kitchen Aid we are actually looking into getting the attachments to go on it since I make a lot of stuff with fresh shredded cheeses and this would help instead of doing it by hand. We also could use the meat grinder to make our own special blend of meats for our one of a kind burger. Mixing Performance When mixing wet ingredients to our dry ingredients we have never had a problem of dry ingredients not being mixed in or left on the bottom of the bowl. Ease of Cleaning I usually clean my unit with a warm soapy wash cloth after each use, the utensils are dishwasher safe but I just wash them by hand with no problems . And the stainless steel bowl we just wipe clean with a soapy rag as well we have never had to scrub any part of this machine. Ease of Use It's so easy to use you just choose your attachment push up on it line up the notch and turn to lock into place, the bowl goes in and out with a twist. and the top locks for safety. It's so easy to use that my 6 year old can use it. Design Although this machine is quite heavy, I like that when it's on it's highest setting it is not jumping around my counter or shaking off the counter to the floor. Durability I know that our Kitchen Aid will last it is heavy, the attachments are not flimsy or floopy, and stainless steel doesn't rust. My sister in law was given her mothers Kitchen Aid mixer that her mother had owned for almost 20 years and it is still running like the day she got it out of the box. Kitchen Aid mixers are built with quality and last a lifetime.

My husband bought me this for christmas 3 yrs ago and I have loved it. I had cheaper ones before but Kitchen aid is well worth the price. I make cookies for every occasion and my husband loves it for making pizza dough. It is also great for homemade butter. It works as great as the day he brought it home. It was a christmas gift but he got it on a black friday sale and I was so glad he decided to give it to me early so I could use it for the holiday baking!

Everyone was telling me how amazing this mixer was and I just thought they were insane for spending so much money on an appliance that could be bought for almost nothing. At my wedding shower, I was given one of these amazing inventions. I use my mixer for literally everything from mashed potatoes to cake mix. Some people do say that this mixer does not mix all of the ingredients (dry mix in the bottom of the bowl) but if you actually read the instruction book, it tells you how to adjust it. I honestly believe this mixer will out live me. Anyone that thinks the cost is way too much should consider that they could buy one mixer and it last forever or buy dozens of cheap mixers and replace them every year. It is a heavy appliance, but it's not cheaply made and its extremely sturdy. I love the fact that it was made in America. The attachments are easy to change and the bowl does move during mixing, which makes it so much easier. Overall, I would recommend this product to everyone that spends a lot of time in the kitchen or just enjoys baking/cooking.

I knew I would love this mixer and it has not failed to meet up to the tasks I have for it. I have a large family and I use it about 5 times a week. I mix everything including bread doughs! It rises and I mix it again. Several times a week I grate cheese with the attachment. It whips up heavy cream into the dreamiest topping ever and much more quickly than my hand mixer. It is very easy to clean and still my favorite kitchen item.

I love my KitchenAid mixer. I've had my mixer for over 5 years and it works as good today as it did the first time I used it. I use it for so many things like cookies, cakes, frosting, and whipped desserts. I absolutely love the cover shield! It keeps things from splattering and making a mess. I love that it will run itself if I have to check other things. Whipping jello takes some time but with the KitchenAid, I just turn it on with the shield in place and it is good to go. I can get other things ready while my jello is whipping. No more holding the mixer for long periods of time when I need something whipped, the mixer does it for me. Whether it's jello, meringue, or whipping cream, the KitchenAid takes care of it and the finished product is perfect every time. It is so easy to use and makes mixing anything a breeze. As the shield guards against splashes, it allows ingredients to be added to the bowl. No stopping and starting to add eggs or anything else. I don't know what I'd do without my mixer!

The mixer can make a double batch of my cut out cookies that use 10 cups of flour. It mixes great and thoroughly. It is easy to take apart and clean. Even my kids can use it! Overall this is a great mixer for a beginner baker or an experienced baker. I love this product!
