Good Mid Range

4

This is a good mid-range dishwasher. Gets dishes clean and glassware spotless (it should be noted though this does require rinse agent to get that spotless shine and it can does appear to really eat through the rinse agent, moreso than i remember of other dishwashers). Runs relatively quite, especially when compared to cheaper washers, but of course louder than the Bosch which prides itself on silence. This wash cycle does take a long time and the dry time seems to take forever (dishes stay hot for an eternity as well, if you want to put them away right after cycle is done, better put on some gloves). I've never actually used all the settings, especially not the pots and pans settings since I've just become so accustomed to pre-scrubbing the difficult pans. I've yet to see a dishwasher than can actually break and clean the caked on/tough stuff. As long as you don't mind the long wait times, I'd suggest this machine if you're not looking to go high end.

A Quite Machine

4

The KitchenAid Architect II Dishwasher, will not disappoint, from its sleek look to quite whisper while the washer is in its' washing cycle. This machine is an upgrade to my previous machine, and I love it, from the smooth design to the design of the compartments inside. One do not need a lot of detergent, a little goes a long way, and your dishes comes out sparkling clean. The upper shelf, provides flexibility in content usage for oversize or irregular size glasses and or containers. It is very roomy and not to mention an energy star efficient machine. This machine is a great addition to my kitchen and overall ease of lifestyle living. I am pleasantly pleased and happy with my purchase.
