I've never even heard of Kitchen Elements before, but my dad saw this on sale and bought it for me. I don't even know what size it is, but I am guessing it is about two quarts. I know it holds two large cans of vegetables, which are about 30 ounces each. Some people might even think it is small enough to be a simmer pot for potpourri, but it was made for food. It has the simple knob control with off, low, high, and keep warm and the clear glass lid just like large crock pots. But it has proven perfect for some jobs. If you attend a lot of pot lucks, it is great for cheese dip (those big crock pots always just seem to have a little dip in the bottom) or for taking a second pot with vegies (like green beans or carrots). I have also found it very handy for slow-cooking meat for my small family. To make stroganoff with round steak, I put a pound of cut-up beef in it with a can of beef broth and let it cook all day and the meat if wonderfully tender at the end of the day. So if you are looking for a small slow cooker for those special jobs, this may be the right one for you.
