Kibbles and Bits Brushing Bites: Ingredients Negate Good Points
Dogs have no way to clean their teeth without some human assistance. I know some who actually brush their dog's teeth, but this isn't a big hit with dogs and it often doesn't work as planned. A better option is to find a dog food or treat that helps with the task and one option is Kibbles and Bits Brushing Bites. Kibbles and Bits Brushing Bites are so- named because the bites have a texture that is supposedly able to scrape the teeth and the product has special ingredients to freshen breath. From my experience with this dog food, I didn't see much difference at all as far as scraping goes and I think my dogs usual foods would do just as well in this department. This claim seems a little exaggerated so don't buy this product expecting your dogs teeth to suddenly look white and bright. As for the fresh breath claim, the product works decently well in this area. Doggie breath is often a problem, but this dog food does make breath a little more bearable and the difference is noticeable. Dogs also like the taste of this dog food and they eat it up quickly, but one fact dog owners will not like with this dog food is the ingredients. They are low in quality and contain far too much corn- based products and meat by- products. Dogs do have teeth cleaning issues and bad breath and Kibbles and Bits Brushing Bites is at least good at taking care of one of these problems. Dogs like the flavor, too, but when you look at the ingredient list and other concerns, this is a below average product all the way and not one I can recommend. Quality of Ingredients The ingredients used to make this food are very low in quality and this is reason enough not to purchase this dog food. Flavor Selection Dogs seem to love the taste, similar to the way kids love the taste of candy.
