I've been with Kentucky Farm Bureau for more than 10 years. Every claim has been a nightmare. They don't call you back; they don't tell you when they're coming; they assess the claim without even looking at your house. I filed a claim for my roof in October. They came to look at it without telling me -- in March of the next year! Then they said the claim was assessed at $498. Interesting -- my deductible is $500. I'm stuck with them for now until I can fight with them about my roof. After that I'm changing companies. The low cost isn't worth the hassles.

We have been with Kentucky Farm Bureau for three years and have been pleased with their service. Their rates are competitive with other national companies but we like the hometown feel of the company. We know our insurance agent and have called the office on numerous occasions and they are always pleasant to work with. Our agent worked to find all the automotive discounts we were eligible for to save us as much money as possible. We also have our business insurance through Kentucky Farm Bureau. We know that if anything happened we could call our agent and have the matter handled quickly instead of going through a larger national chain. Kentucky Farm Bureau is a great company.

Adjuster came to check roof - did not even get on the roof and try to tell the company we received an estimate from that we did not have the kind of roof they were going to put back - WRONG - he had no idea because he did not even look !!
