Purchased these to replace older front load set. I was not pleased with mold growing in door and didn't want to purchase another and have to buy another base for them because it cost so much. This one is a little complicated and I am still trying to figure it out. The only two problems I have found so far are: I am too short to reach the bottom, reaching socks and small items is comical to my family. Also, it gets off balance easy and I have had water in the floor a couple times. Not had time to have them check it, but hope it is an easy fix. I do miss some features of the front load set, but this one is very sleek and holds a lot more laundry than my front loaders. I can actually skip a day or two between towel loads and that is nice. Energy Efficiency It seems to take longer to wash so I am not sure how much energy that requires. Cleaning Time I use fabric softener and you can not choose that option with express wash so what used to take 40 minutes for a load of casual now takes an hour. Ease of Use With so many options, it takes awhile to figure out what options go together. It is confusing when you can not choose certain options with different cycles. Design NIce sleek design, my only problem is I am too short to reach the bottom of the washer. Durability I have only had this a couple weeks so I am not sure of the durability at this time. I will go out on a limb since there is not an undecided option and hope it lasts.
