The holidays can prove challenging when trying to keep a million different dishes hot and ready for the big meal. My Kenmore Elite Countertop Microwave has solved this dilemma. It's extra large capacity makes it great for my sister-in-law's green bean casserole that makes a welcome appearance at every holiday feast. I have also put two small dishes in side by side together to keep them warm with no problem at all. It's perfect for cooking or reheating. I use both features equally often since my work schedule is quite different from my husband's in the evening. This way, everyone gets a hot meal...even when mom's not in the kitchen. I can adjust the power level by 10 different settings. This has not been a feature that I have used very much since I feel like I'm always guessing and not usually guessing accurately. However, this microwave does have sensor capabilities that keep me from burning things. There are a number of quick settings, such as pizza, popcorn, frozen food and even one for melting butter. My only complaint is that it takes up too much counter space. I haven't found a built-in model like this, but that would be my dream microwave. The black color is sleek and modern.
