The Kenmore Elite Countertop Microwave with convection in black is wonderful. We just got this microwave convection a few weeks ago and we love it. It was very reasonably priced and has a very classy black look to it. We set it up right away and it was able to perform just as we wanted it to. The settings are very simple and not too complicated to handle or figure out. We have not had to do any heavy duty cleaning as it stays pretty clean itself. The design and durability seem to be very good for the price we paid for this microwave. I love that the settings are simple and we can heat things up very fast to eat when in a hurry. We always stick with the brand name of kenmore as they are rated high in their quality for their products. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to purchase a new microwave convection. I would rate this an eight overall product. The performance I would rate an eight as well and settings also. The ease of cleaning and ease of use would be rated an eight. And I would rate the durability and design an overall ten. Overall this is a great product and I am pleased with my purchase.

Overall, no complaints. I had scoured over tons of reviews on microwaves and the only "negative" I could really find is that it beeps at you loudly when you food is done. Really? Performance Very powerful and cooks evenly. I go right in the middle of the suggested setting and have not been off yet. Settings/Features Nothing else to ask for. Ease of Cleaning REALLY easy. I wish the plastic ring that the glass turn table sits on were a little more sturdy, but I don't see it just breaking, you would have to stress it. Ease of Use I think I read one review that said you need a masters degree to figure this out. Well, my parrot could figure it out. Come on now. The button that says 2 is for 2 minutes, cook time is how long you want to cook it, etc. Durability So far so good. Just gave it a 10 because we have not had any issues but we have only had it 3 months. Design Sleek, easy to use, intuitive, easy to clean. Now if you could just get it to do floors.

We renovated our kitchen and decided to use all Kenmore appliances. We are happy with our purchase and the microwave has a professional look. This microwave has a good size capacity. It has enough power to do everything that's asked of it. The controls are easy to learn and use.. The finish looks nice and clean on the counter. We were very happy to find this on sale on Black Friday. I was also pleased to learn I could use my Shop Your Way points for this purchase. I was familiar with this product because I purchased one from SEARS for my office. It worked great. I loved the fact that it's both a convection oven and a microwave. I haven't used the convection oven feature as of yet, so I can't honestly comment about it. But, if it's as good as the microwave, I'll be very happy with it, too. When I moved this last time I wanted to for once have all my appliances match, so once I knew that the kitchen appliances were all black I knew I needed to buy a black microwave to Match. After looking at what seems like every microwave at every store from here to Tallahassee, I found this Kenmore 1.5 cu feet microwave in Black. After checking the specs I decided this was the one for me. It's just me and my toddler, so I didn't need a very Big microwave, not only because there is just two of us but because I don't rely on it as much as some people do. It fits great on the Counter space and because it is more compact it doesn't take up too much room. It matches great with my other appliances which was a big deal to me. The other major selling point to me was that it is easy to clean. I can do I one handed while a toddler climbs all over me, and believe me that's a big thing with this momma. It heats evenly and I haven't had any major fiasco's with undercooked or over cooked food with it. Overall it's not the ideal microwave for a larger family, but for someone who is living alone, a smaller family or someone who doesn't have that much space It would be perfect for.

My parents gave me this Kenmore microwave as a hand-me-down at one point. I only had it for a brief period of time but found it to simply be your average microwave. It did its intended job of heating up food. It was not as powerful and some microwaves but it worked for what I needed. It is not very fancy, which doesn't matter to me one way or another. The inside is fairly easy to wipe down, which was nice. This is just a normal microwave, I can't really say much else about it. Performance This performs just like your average microwave. Settings/Features There are not really any fancy settings or features on this microwave. It is easy for kids to use. Ease of Cleaning The inside is easy to wipe down. The outside shows fingerprints and any food particles that may get on it, fairly easily though. Ease of Use Easy to use, even for kids. Durability My parents had it for a number of years before they gave it to me. I did not have it long because I got a different, newer one. Design Just your typical appearing microwave. It does not look very "modern".

I originally bought this Kenmore while renting an apartment that had neither an oven nor a microwave in the place. This was the perfect microwave because it also works like a regular oven as well which is awesome! It heats up food fast and has plenty of room to put really large bowls or plates in it. My roommate and I both got a lot of use out of it and it has held up strong ever since then through multiple power outages ( I had a microwave blow out on me once from a power outage). The door on this microwave is also nice and quiet as opposed to some that sound like they're slamming shut when you just want to sneak into the kitchen for a quiet late night snack. I don't really use the automatic settings on it for popcorn etc. but I'm sure they work okay. Overall, it is an awesome microwave and I am really glad I bought it. I would recommend this to anyone who just moved into a new apartment or dorm and is looking for a micowave and an oven that is absolutely perfect for small spaces. Design Coolest design, I love it!

The Kenmore Elite Countertop Microwave might be the only microwave that I have owned that failed shortly after purchasing. The first couple of times I used this microwave it was magnificent. I was able to pop a bag of popcorn without burning any of the kernels on the first attempt, which is a rare occurrence for me. I was also able to defrost a pound of turkey in under 6 minutes without over cooking. When I tried using the microwave to melt a slice of cheese for my sandwich sparks started to fly. The sparks were similar to the sparks of putting aluminum foil in the microwave. I immediately stopped the microwave and looked inside, but I didn't see any burn marks. I decided to give it another shot and after 5 seconds the sparks started to fly once again. This time around I noticed there was a burning plastic smell, but I still didn't see any physical problems. I decided to return the Kenmore Elite Countertop Microwave and upon inspection I was informed that there was an issue with the magnetron tube. I was told that it could be repaired very easily, but the price of a new tube combined with labor fees would cost me more than the microwave. I decided to just replace the microwave with a new one instead. I haven't had a single problem with the replacement. I would definitely recommend the Kenmore Elite Countertop Microwave.

This microwave has been the best little microwave we've ever had. It has been going strong for more than 11 years now and still works just great. We had another brand of microwave before and it didn't seem to last long at all. The keypad on it went haywire (we think). This one has shown no signs of quitting on us any time soon.
