This machine worked ok for the first 3 years but now everything is going at once! The mother board and the transmission went at the same time. The repairman ordered another transmission and replaced the motherboard. The transmission that came was a remanufactured one that didn't work either. So he ordered another transmission. We are going on two months with a broken down washing machine. It is still under warranty and that is the only reason we have not just gotten a new washer. But if they are going to keep replacing parts with remanufactured and not new parts this machine more than likely won't last much longer. Kenmore used to have great reliable appliances but those days seem to be gone. I will never buy another Kenmore!!!

We bought this washer in April of 2014; by July of 2016 we had to replace the mother board. Now, two years later, we have to replace the mother board again. I feel the clothes don't come out clean, don't smell good and clean. I've had to rewash towels because they come out smelling funny. The washer sometimes smells funky after a few loads. I am totally disappointed with it and won't be buying anymore Kenmore products. I wanted a Speed Queen, which I hear were very good; but the 2018 SQ are redesigned and are not as good as they were. I don't know what to replace this machine with!!!

The one word that comes to my mind about Kenmore is quality. If I had to think of others I would include efficient, hardworking, reliable, and trustworthy. My grandfather retired from Sears so we have always been a kenmore family. As a married mother of three I am still a Kenmore fan. I am hard on my washer and dryer. With three kids, aged 8, 11, and 16, plus a husband with a grubby job, I need appliances that work just as hard as I do. Kenmore does that. It has all the features that you need and will work hard for you. Energy Efficiency All Kenmore appliances are energy star rated. Cleaning Time I inherited a whirlpool washer when we bought our house. It would take forever to wash a load of clothes, small or otherwise. We are a busy family and I need my washer to be busy too. It is not efficient for me to spend an hour washing clothes. I bought the Kenmore and now my laundry washes so quick and you do not sacrifice any quality which is the most important thing. Performance A Kenmore performs exactly how you think it should only better. In this age of "disposable" appliances where they are made not to last but to be as cheap as possible to make you will never be sorry for buying a Kenmore. They have there eye set on building quality items at fair prices. Ease of Use Unlike many of the washers and dryers they have these days that are totally complicated to figure out and have way more settings than you could ever possibly even use, Kenmore has everything you need designed in a way so that you can easily set it how you want. Design I like the classic, clean look of this washer. I don't need some fancy, hard to figure out washer and dryer to feel good about myself. I need a washer that does it's job better than anyone else and that is what you get when you buy Kenmore. Durability Unlike most things these days, Kenmore items are built to last.

I just bought this for a rental property. I have decided that Kenmore for the most part is the best of the best when it comes to appliances. They for sure made another great piece of machinery with this washer. After purchasing and putting it in the rental property, I went ahead and washed a load of towels to make sure it would hold up to whatever was thrown at it. It surprised me at how great it was. Its a fairly quiet washer. Even with a full load of beach and bath towels in it. It washed them quietly and efficiently. Its easy to load and the buttons aren't overly complicated. It seems to me that there are a lot of detergent spills in the laundry room, and so easy to clean is a big plus. This Kenmore washer is easy to clean, and another big plus is that it doesn't get dinged, scratched or beat up easily. So far I am impressed with the performance of this Kenmore washer and will probably be buying the matching dryer in the near future.

The kenmore top load high efficiency washer is absolutely perfect for my house and my budget. When we were shopping for a washer we were looking for something that could keep up with the amount of laundry we do on a regular basis with four people, two being five year old twins. I did a review on this machine and it seemed perfect. So we went to check it out and it was a very nice design and was a very good sized machine. We bought the washer after one store trip. When I first used it I was amazed at how much room it actually had. I was able to fit both of my kids bulky blankets in and with my old machine when we put that much in it would be incredibly loud where as this made no sound. It also hss a setting for extra timing to fight tough stains which I am constantly dealing with, but even setting it longer is saving me more money. My electric bill significantly went down and that's always a plus especially when the washer is doing more and bringing the price down. It was a little expensive,but absolutely worth it. I love it and wouldn't trade it for another. Great product and would definitely recommend looking at it as an option if your in the market for a new one.

As with all of our other major appliances, we have owned this Kenmore washing machine for about seven years now. I will say that of all of our products made by Kenmore that we own, this Kenmore 3.8 cubic foot washing machine is my least favorite of them all. I originally chose this design after reading reviews online that said it was great with water consumption. I also read that washing machines that do not have the agitator inside are more friendly to your clothes. Well, I need the agitator apparently, I have four children and a dirty husband. They are all extremely rough on their clothing, constantly covered in mud or their dinner. I sometimes need to wash their clothing two or three times to be able to get all of the dirt and grime off. This would be okay for an older couple whose clothes rarely experience any real dirt. The agitator seems to do a better job of getting the tough stuff out. I am not too concerned with the water consumption, I would rather have clean clothes the first time then have to rewash them multiple times, that's using more water. I have also had issues with it jamming up and continuing to fill even after the cycle was done. Luckily, it only overflowed onto the floor once. However, that was once too many, and I will not be buying a Kenmore washer when it is time to replace these appliances. I would not recommend this washing machine to families with dirty husbands, children, or pets. This may suit well for a nice clean working couple or the elderly, as it is very easy to use.

I have been a Kenmore customer for most of my life. I have always found my washer to last and last. The one I have now is over 10 years old and still going strong and gets used on a daily basis. We are constantly doing wash at least once a day. Energy Efficiency Cleans very well and like the variable water temperature choices. Lots of cycles to chose from and pre wash and auto soak are very useful. Cleaning Time I think it averages the same time as any washer would. You can set it for smaller loads and less soiled or delicate cycles. I don't seem to have an issue with the time it takes. Performance As I said it's still going strong with no issues and it gets a good workout every day. Ease of Use Very simple to use. Basic dials are what I always have had. I'm Leary of the electronics so I have always purchased dials even though the electronics are taking over Durability My family has a wash load going at the very least one to two times a day or more. We are a family of three and plenty of dirty clothes from jeans to hoodies piling up in a small space so it's used daily to avoid tripping over the dirty clothes.

This is a very efficient washing machine - it can hold quite a lot of laundry (quite a bit more than my last Kenmore top load washer) and it gets the job done in record time! I would recommend this product to anyone looking for an affordable washing machine.

I decided to upgrade my washer and dryer set, but wasn't sure if I wanted a top load or front load washer. Of course the price is a factor so I went ahead and went with what I know, a top load. My husband and I looked and found the Kenmore Top Load Efficiency Washer 25102 at a great price. I was so excited on using a new machine, i couldn't wait to try it out. After reading the manual I decided on trying the express cycle, but there's nothing express about it. This machine took way to long and my clothes ended up super wet at the end. I thought this machine would be amazing! After weeks of dealing with slow cycles, and sensor isues my husband and I had had enough. I was disappointed and we replaced this Kenmore with a front load machine which in all honesty I should have done in the first place. Energy Efficiency I really couldn't tell how much energy we saved since I had to replace it after a month. Cleaning Time Absolutely the longest cycles I have ever seen. A new model washer shouldn't take an hour on express cycle. Performance Very disappointed, Kenmore is a top of the line brand. This washer was a total disappointment.
