I bought my Kenmore stainless steel ice maker a few weeks ago when I moved into my new townhouse. Even though there is one in the fridge , I wanted one that would make more ice at a time because I live in Florida and here in a couple months we will be using a lot of ice. I researched this model as well as a couple of other brands before deciding on this one. I haven't regretted getting this one at all. The design is simple, which since its a ice maker design doesn't really matter all that much. But it's nice and sleek and doesn't take up that much space at all. The most important thing I was worried about when I bought this was the amount of noise that it was going to make when producing ice. I'm pleased to report that you can't even hear this hardly when it makes cubes which is nice. It's pretty easy to clean. I wiped down the front just sat night and was reminded how easy stainless steel is to clean.
