I found out two months ago that I have IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome), it is a disease that has different symptoms for almost every person that suffers from it. Symptoms can range from mild irregulaity to severe chronic abdominal and intestinal pain. I am oh so fortunate enough to be on the severe end of the symptoms. So after the hospital visit and tons of tests and medical bills, one of the things I have learned is the important role that fiber plays in digestion, and why it is so important, not only for IBS sufferers, but everyone. That being said, fiber is available in many, many not very appealing to eat options. However, there are some smart companies that have taken the idea of fiber additives, similar to dissolving powders that are on the market, and applied them in delicious, craveable products. Kellogg's All Bran has definitely hit the mark with their chocolate Rolled Fiber Wafers. These delicious  sticks have 10g of fiber in three long sticks, but carry only 130 calories and 4g of fat. They look very similar to Peppridge Farm Pirouette cookies, and taste just as great, inside they are lined with chocolate. I find that for my diet, they are perfect, they aren't high in calories, which is good; they are high in fiber, which is excellent, and they are so good! They advertise that they have a Strawberry flavor on the side of the box, but I haven't seen them anywhere. In fact, I can only find this product in Wal-Mart. If you are looking to up your fiber intake, or just a better way to eat fiber, you HAVE to try these! Did I mention thay are delicious!
