After trying numerous toilet bowl cleaners on the market I have found that Kaboom has the very best! I find that it cleans hard water stains and anything else with ease. I just pour some of the liquid around the surface of the toilet bowl, being sure to aim the dispensere up into the bowl rim. Then I allow it to sit for approximately five minutes, then scrub with a toilet brush. It leaves the bowl sparkling clean with very little effort or brushing. I do not like the idea of leaving a cleaner in the bowl or tank all the time, so for me this is the best option. It is very affordable and you only need a small amount of the liquid per use, so that keeps the price per use even lower. The package says to wait for the purple liquid to turn green, but I have waited upwards of twenty to thirty minutes and have not seen this color change happen. I also use this liquid to remove rust stains. The package does NOT list this as a use, so please try this use with caution.

Bowl Blaster is a great name for this product. It is actually a granular product that you pour into the toilet bowl, and it immediately becomes a foamy power house; attacking stains and even rust without scrubbing. This is an amazing product. If you have time to let it set and work its magic, you will be pleased with the results. You do not need to scrub, especailly if you let it sit and foam up a while. We have well water, and that can be rough on fixtures, especially forming rings around the bowl. I find that this product is far superior to the liquid cleaners that I have used in the past, and even better than the gel products that are out there. I would add a word of caution about the strong odor from the product. It can be very potent, so you really don't want to inhale the fumes, especially when you first pour in the product. The other thing I might mention is that the product seems to absorb moisture, when it is stored, so be sure to replace the cap tightly after use. You may even have to shake the container, or even hit the side of it to get it free flowing again, if you store it in a damp area. But aside from these two negative comments, it is an awesome product, and I highly recommend it. Performance It does an amazing job without scrubbing. Scent The smell can be quite strong as you are pouring it into the bowl.

Kaboom Bowl Blaster Toilet Cleaner, a waste of time! My toilets are never nearly as filthy as the ones they show on T.V., yet somehow the spokesman gets his toilet bowl shining clean. Well I had received several Kaboom products the Bowl Blaster being one of them, so I went to try it out. I followed the directions, and guess what Kaboom my toilet was still dirty! So I had to get my tried an true cleaner (I don't think I'm supposed to name it) and clean my toilet the old fashioned way. Kaboom Bowel Blaster Toilet Cleaner, didn't do any harm but it didn't do any good either. The product is a hoax. I tried using it again in another bathroom this time I used much more and gave it longer, but still the same result. So I threw away the remaining can. And have told people that it is not worth buying. Performance Kaboom Bowl Blaster Toilet Cleanser is a FRAUD! It does not work Scent The smell is really unremarkable. It is neither offensive nor exceptionally good.

I suppose if you were using this on a toilet that was just a little dirty or needed to smell fresh that Kaboom Bowl Blaster would work great for that. However, I bought it because I thought it would remove limescale/mineral deposits in the bowl. I was disappointed. When I added the Kaboom to the toilet bowl, it appeared to be working at first -- with the "magic" powder that foams and changes colors. However, it did not do what it promised. I still had to scrub and it still did not remove the mineral deposits. Other than leaving your toilet smelling clean, I'm not sure it's good for much. I continued to use it several times, thinking that it would break the minerals down over time, but it never did. Performance It doesn't live up to the hype on the commercials. Skip it and find another product instead. I did! Scent The scent was noticeably present, but not a noxious smell. It was a little pleasant even.

For the purpose of hard water stains, this product surely delivers. To say there is no hard scrubbing is a bit of a stretch. To really remove the stains from my bowl and sink I did need to scrub the cleaner in quite a bit. It rinses very easily but does leave a bit of a residue behind which I needed to flush a few times to get down the drain. My only concern is the price point. As I will mention in the review later, there are other products on the market at a lower price point which work as well as this one. Performance My toilet bowl is old and has a ring from the hard water my community has. This worked well towards removing the ring. Not to be too graphic but it also worked well on other stains in the bowl. That there is no scrubbing is a bit of a misnomer. I did come in with a paper towel to scrub away some of the more stubborn stains. Would I buy this product again? I feel that there are some products at a lesser price point which clean just as effectively. Scent All bathroom cleaners have what I feel is a "industrial cleaning scent" to them. This scent was particularly powerful. As I was applying it I had to step away for a few moments because I was overwhelmed with the smell and had begun to cough. Each time I used this either in the bowl or in the sink I had to crack the window in my bathroom a little so as to not be overtaken with the scent. Now, it was nice to have the "cleaner" smell in the bowl for the few days after I had used it. I just am very sensitive to smells of cleaners when I am working with them. This is not a pungent odor by any means, its just a stronger odor.

This was my first kaboom product and i was skeptical at first since all the other toilet cleaning product would promise things and not deliver. Well this kaboom toilet cleaner made me a believer. And is the only toilet cleaning i will ever use. I love how it comes out purple and whenever its clean it turns lime green. It's easy and effortless. And the toilet stains disappeared like magic. Poof...gone. i get excited whenever I find something great and definitely would recommend it to family and friends whenever I find something good. Especially cleaning a toilet is never fun or pleasant, but this product sure saves money and time for me. I recently found a sweet deal at safeway so I bought five bottles of different kaboom products plus additional 75 cents off coupon. I wish I bought kaboom products years ago. I really and truly miss this stuff. I don't think my toilet has been really clean since they discontinued it. Smelled a bit strong but I had no intention of snorting it so that really didn't bother me. I care about the cleaning and wish I could find something as good to replace it.

We spend this weekend replacing a 9 month old low flow toilet because the ceramic had started to wear off. Although I won't blame this product on ruining the toilet, it definitely didn't help. This KaBoom Toilet Blast is VERY Powerful and after speaking with the plumber, not good for toilets that have very low flow of water in them such as the ones we had. You could see the streaks from where I squirted the product even though I swished it. I supposed I could recommend if you have one of the older toilets that have lots of water in the bowl or really need a powerful clean job, but not for the newer ones. Performance As I said, my low flow toilet had very little actual water in the bowl, causing me to need to clean it more than usual. That said, I used the product sparingly and swished it around. It turns from a bright purple to a very ugly green color when it's "done" which makes this awful task even worse. As I didn't have much water in the bowl, I had to clean the toilet weekly, and this didn't always do the job on the first try. It didn't take off ANY of the pink lines from the water in the bowl and we have soft water. I can't speak about how it works with hard water. Scent It has a very strong smell but not one that alludes to a clean fresh scent. In fact I can't describe it at all. It didn't smell disinfected.

Cleaning the toilet involves making a decision among a few dozen different toiler bowl cleaners, most of which perform at about the same level and are often differentiated only by their price. One of the more expensive options that may not be worth the money is Kaboom Bowl Blaster Toilet Cleaner. Toilet Cleaner Facts and Commentary: Kaboom Bowl Blaster Toilet Cleaner is a foaming cleaner that tries to break up stains through its foaming action in order to make cleaning easier and more convenient. You measure the cleaner in the cap, as directed, and then dump it into the toilet. It will foam up for a short time, after which the toilet bowl can be cleaned with a brush, as usual. Kaboom Bowl Blaster Toilet Cleaner sounds like a promising product, but I find that the powder does not produce the powerful cleaning foam like the manufacturer claims. It doesn't foam up to the level I expected and even increasing the dose doesn't make a huge difference. For cleaning ability, Kaboom Bowl Blaster Toilet Cleaner is an okay product, but it takes a little more effort than I expected. A major part of the problem is that it doesn't work at the exceptional level it claims. If Kaboom didn't make such lofty promises, I would probably think it was an okay toilet bowl cleaner, but it leads you to believe it is something much better- something that will scrub away stains with almost no effort, which isn't true. My Bottom Line: My bottom line Viewpoint with Kaboom Bowl Blaster Toilet Cleaner is that it is an average cleaner overall and not the best smelling cleaning product I have ever tried. I find it acceptable, but the manufacturer needs to do something to increase the foam and penetration of stains in order for its actual cleaning ability to equal what it claims. Performance The performance of this product is average overall and not as good as the manufacturer claims. Scent The scent is chemical- like and not very pleasant.

I couldn't be more excited about finding this product! I have looked for ages for something to work as well as this does. We ended up with the horrible rings from my husband having to snake the toilet and no matter what I used,or how much I scrubbed, they just wouldn't go away. With this product, the first time I used it, it cleaned out stuff that had stuck in and on the rings, then after the second time, over half the ring stains were gone. The third time, all gone. Performance Product claims it goes in purple and turns green when it is clean, I am not too sure about that because it seemed to turn green almost as soon as it touched the water, so I wouldn't go off that for If your bowl is clean, I would go off leaving for the recommended time. Scent The smell is pretty strong, and it isn't the most pleasant smell, however, it works, and the smell doesn't linger, so I am fine with it. With most "serious" cleaners, you usually have to sacrifice good scents for unpleasant ones.
