I usually stay away from anything that says "oil". I don't like greasy oily food, I don't like the sticky touch of oil. I opt for acrylic painting over oil because oil stinks. As for skin care, I don't even like those oil removing facial cleanser, no matter how people say they're good, like those from shu uemera. I just don't like it. I saw some good reviews on beauty.com about Jurlique's balancing face oil. I was skeptical. But I badly needed something to tackle my skin drying problem. My skin was so dry that it flaked at the T-zone whenever I apply foundation on it. I read how someone said her skin has become baby soft after using it for a short period of time. I got a half off discount, so I said why not give it a try? And boy I'm so impressed! I use it for only one night. The next morning, my skin felt so soft, like the other review mentioned. I couldn't help but keep patting my face every now and then. :D The skin peeling condition has also improved a lot. The way to use this product, as indicated on the package, is to put a few drops of oil on a cotton pad and apply on the face. I didn't use it. I had 3 drops on my palm, and mixed it with my regular lotion and pat it on. You can do some massaging around the neck and the whole face, and you're done. I don't particularly like rose scent in general, but this one here does not bother me at all. I'm taking one star off because....as you already know....i don't like oil. It's my own problem though! :)
