I thought this was just an ok shampoo. I really think it made my low lights fade faster. I have red low lights and a color put on my roots routinely. I really felt like when I used this shampoo for a couple of months that my color faded and my roots just looked horrible. Once I switched from this shampoo, it seemed like my color held longer. Overall, the shampoo did moisturize my color processed hair. I have long, thin, fine hair and it didn't make my hair limp or greasy. It kept my split ends tamed and cleaned my hair really good. I wear a lot of hairspray and this shampoo got it clean. The smell is really good. I like the way my hair smelled after drying. I could smell it all day. I also live in a humid area and some shampoos can leave my hair limp or greasy. Not the case with this shampoo. It really worked well as far as moisturizing and cleaning but I wouldn't recommend it for color processed hair.

Very good shampoo. I used it for only a couple of days before I started to realize " hey, this isn't just any ordinary shampoo!" It actually is a very good shampoo for long hair or short hair. Also the scent is simply Devine! If I had the choice to use this or suave I would choose this. My hairdresser told me that suave is really good but I really prefer this joico product on my hair. The scent does not leave for the whole entire day. And when I get my hair colored it actually helps to preserve the color even tho it is not specifically for color-treated hair. I bought this Joico product after using a sample that I recieved in the mail and I would strongly recommend it to my family and also my friends. Why would you not want the best for yourself? The price is so reasonable it is almost a no-brainer. I am not an employee of this brand nor a hairdresser, I just know what I like and wanted to share my opinion in a public forum!

As a Texas Cosmetologist, I would say that this is certainly one of my most favorite shampoos. It is perfect for older clients who need moisture for their hair that is starting to get dull from aging and also would like to style with volume! Unlike most moisture products, this shampoo WILL NOT take away from your volume when you restyling your hair! This product makes it very easy to have healthy and stylish hair! The bottles are blue and very sleek looking! Also, the scent is amazing! it is very fresh and clean! However if you are not into floral scents you will most def not enjoy this product! Effectiveness I notice a difference in moisture right away after my first use! Easy to style with, cuts dry time in half! Easy to keep that fabulous volume and maintain moisture in your cortex! Scent Very Very refreshing! Floral, so if you don't like floral smells this is not the shampoo for you!

After trying Nioxin shampoo for several months, to help with thinning hair, I found my hair really dry and damaged (above and beyond what my normal chemical treatments produce). I received a bottle of Joico moisturizing shampoo for Christmas and was absolutely thrilled with the results. I'm already planning on buying another bottle. Although it is a little pricier than other brands, it doesn't take much to work up a nice lather so it lasts longer, which makes it worth it. Effectiveness I found that within only a few applications that my hair seemed healthier. After the damaged ends of my hair were cut off, my hair had never looked better. It was smooth and shiny and looked great. My hair is curly and it doesn't weigh it down. This shampoo cleans well and is gentle enough to use every day. It doesn't leave a residue on your hair at all, which is nice if you use hair styling products like mousse or curling gel. Scent This shampoo has a light but pleasant scent. I didn't smell it once I left the shower.

Bought this shampoo (along with the conditioner) because I wanted to try something new and becuase it was on sale at a Runway Show I went to with my Beauty School. From recently bleaching my hair and making it red, it has become very dry and damaged so I decided that this might work for me and it definitely did. I plan on buying more at this year's Runway Show because it works so well. I would definitely recommend it to anyone

**I Love Joico's Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner!!! **I have curly thick hair and my hairdresser recommended this shampoo to me and so I gave it a try and I'm so glad I did. It smells good without being overwelming and it really does the trick~~my hair feels so soft and silking after using the shampoo and conditioner. I have to say this is one of the best moisturizing shampoo and conditioner products i've ever tried and it does what it claims to do. And it's at a fairly reasonable price, I always look for deals on this product and get even better prices.

After using grocery store-purchased hair products and shampoo on platinum blonde hair, my hair was dried out, damaged, and breaking consistently. I have thick hair naturally, and mixed with the drying out of bleaching, this caused way too much volume and extreme breakage (and therefore split ends) to top it off. A hair stylist recommended the Joico line of shampoo and conditioners, and after a month I already noticed a huge difference. Bleached hair will always break a little, regardless of product usage, but I noticed a steep decline after a short time of using the shampoo. My hair was yellowed and dull from the the hard city water, but afterwards it was shiny, almost like professional wigs (in a good way!). The large bottles they come in lasted me about 8 months, which is awesome considering they are rather pricey. It's well worth every penny though if you dye your hair often and especially lighten it. It replaces the vitamins lost with coloring, and prevents hair from splitting early and fast. Without this product, there's no point in dyeing hair-you'll just end up with dying hair.
