I really love Johnson & Johnson Reach Gentle Gum Care with Fluoride Floss. I have very sensitive gums and also have gaps in between some of my teeth. Flossing with traditional floss or with floss picks always irritates my gums. The pain associated with flossing caused me to floss less often than I should have been. I found Reach Gentle Gum Care with Fluoride Floss online. I have never noticed this floss in the stores where I shop. I found it online and bought it. This floss has a refreshing mint taste that leaves my mouth feeling fresh and clean. Reach Gentle Gum Care with Fluoride Floss is not like traditional floss. It is made of woven strings that are gentler on my gums. The woven strings make a huge difference. I am able to tolerate this floss much better than traditional floss. It glides between my teeth easily. I don't have to force it to come out of between my teeth and hear that terrible popping sound . It glides right out and doesn't cause pain in between my teeth.

I grew up using this product but over the years from lack of braces, my teeth are pushed together and not a lot of space is between them. For that reason, I am unable to use the Johnson & Johnson Floss although it is not a problem with the product at all. The floss is too thick for me to use on more than half my mouth. I do like the way the floss works for the ones that I can get between and it leaves my mouth feeling incredibly fresh. My dentist told me that I just need to leave floss alone because I end up hurting my gums from trying to wiggle it through. I end up wasting more of the product than I use. I still buy this product though from time to time because my husband likes it. He says it is better than the original one that Johnson & Johnson makes. I do like how easy the floss dispenses from the packaging and the product is very affordable. The lid keeps the product fresh and makes it easy to travel with.

I tried the Johnson & Johnson Reach Gentle Gum Care with Fluoride floss and really liked it. I like the fact that there is fluoride infused in it so that Is good for your teeth. It is not rough like some floss products and is made for sensitive gums. It does not hurt my sensitive gums when I use it.

I have been using the gentle care floss for years becuase it really gets inbetween tight teeth with out breaking.  The uniquie twist design of the threads are slightly fuzzy and get all the bits of food and spice other types of floss will miss.  This is the only floss I use now in spite of the not so great taste.  The added mint helps with the taste, so its not so bad and you get used to it.  I love the plastic lided box with the thread cutter, it makes it so easy to use and I carry it with me in my purse.  I keep a lot of these on hand so that I always have some and never run out.  i am very loyal to this product and don't ever want to use anything else.

With hindsight comes wisdom, and now I realize that I should have been flossing my teeth all along.  Even after I "cottoned on" and started faithful daily flossing 15 years ago, it took a while to find a floss that really worked for me.  I didn't care for that waxed stuff but certain kinds of unwaxed woven floss were difficult to use because my teeth are set very closely together with very little space in between to easily negotiate floss. It may be that other people are having this problem also and for them I must recommend the one which has worked so beautifully for me -- Johnson & Johnson Reach Gentle Gum Care with Fluoride.  This is a wonderful product -- durable, doesn't fray easily, but is thin and soft enough to get the job done without pulling too strenuously on tooth enamel or delicate dental work.  The floss is also embued with a delightful mint taste which I find very refreshing.  When this product goes on sale, I have a tendency to "stock up" because I have come to depend on it so much.  I really think that if I were washed up on a desert island somewhere with only one item in my pocket, I would hope very much that it would be a package of Reach Gentle Gum Care Floss.  It's THAT important!
