I was looking for replacement ear-buds to use instead of my Apple ear-buds. I don't like the feel of the hard plastic ear-buds like the ones that came with my iPod. I wanted a low cost replacement and decided on the JVC Marshmellow Earbuds in Pink. I absolutely love them. The best thing about them is that they are comfortable. They don't hurt my ears and they stay in place, even when I am jogging. Not only are they comfortable and inexpensive, but the sound is wonderful! While not sold as noise-cancelling, they do get rid of much of the outside noise around me. I just bought my boyfriend a pair for Valentine's day in green and I intend to buy another pair in purple for work. These ear-buds come in a variety of fun, vibrant colors. I had the round spheres that comes with and iPod for a while but I noticed after wearing them for a few hours while working, my ears would start to hurt on the inside. It got to the point that I couldn't put in my ear buds for a few days after they'd healed. So I went and found these. They are much, much more comfortable. I can where them for hours and hours at a time, repeatedly each day and never have discomfort. They fit my ears and provide good sound. They work well with both my iPod touch and my laptop. The only drawback is the gummy finds and sticks to anything in my ears. I clean my ears every day but after a while the gummy can still get a bit disgusting. I wipe them off each time they get that way and they always continue to work. Sound Quality I'm not an expert when it comes to good sound quality but it sounds fine to me. Comfort These are so, so comfortable! It is one of the main reasons I bought them and I am not disappointed. Durability I've had mine for years and are still working fine.

I purchased these headphones because they were at a good price. I was pricing headphones and there were others that were just way out of my budget. I thought I'd give these a try. I use them for long walks and workouts,. They work good, keep out any trafdfic or outside noise. I enjoy the quality that it produces and i can turn up my musci without any static or interruptions.

I got these headphones from my husband for Christmas this year. So far, they have been great. I use my iPod and iPad frequently when traveling and working out and I think these headphones are perfect for both of those activities. They are extremely comfortable in my ears and the sound quality is good. I haven't noticed any breaking in the sound when I've been running on the treadmill. I don't think they cancel out as much noise as other headphones, but I do think they do a good job for such an inexpensive product. I also love the color options and I like they way they look. I don't expect these headphones to last forever, but I would highly recommend these headphones to anyone looking for a inexpensive option.

I bought these for my son to replace the cheap pair that came with his MP3 player that he got for Christmas. He loves these. The cheap ones actually rubbed his ears a little raw, whereas these fir perfectly into his ear and stay in place. They are also very comfortable. Sound Quality The sound quality is great- no complaints! Comfort These are a lot more comfortable than the ones he had. My only complaint is that they are too big for my 5 year old to use- they won't stay in her ear Design The design is great. My son loves them Durability We've only had them for a week, but if they can last that long with an 11 year old boy, I would call them durable.

Many other headphones I have tried have bothered my ears but the JVC Marshmallow headphones are quite comfortable even for long periods of use. Sound Quality I am in my 50's and only listen to music on occasion (in the pool) doing meditation... and these earphones have a nice quality sound to them. Comfort Very comfortable compared to most other earphones I have tried. For the price you cannot beat them. Design For the most part they stay in my ears. Occasionally one will slip out, not sure if that is the design of the product or my ear but it is not that big a deal. I love the soft ear pieces and the pretty pink color. Durability I have used these on occasion for a year now and they have held up very well. They get both indoor and outdoor use.

I will be the first to admit that I am rather cheap. As much as I would love to have some Bose headphones, or the lastest Dr. Dre Headphones, I cannot convince myself to the spend the money on them. And why should I? I barely spent ten bucks on these and they are working out just fine. Mine came with a couple different sets of "squishy" ear inserts so I can adjust what size of headphones I want to put in my ear. They also come in different colors (I chose black because black is the most classic color in my opinion). They are also great because once in your ear, they stay in your ear (think ear phones you wear on the airplane so you do not have to listen to the guy snore next to you). In sum - great quality; definitely worth the price.

Let me begin this review by stating that for the price I haven't found a better set of headphones yet. Does this mean that I am completely satisfied with them? Not exactly. The audio quality of these headphones is pretty decent. I use them about an hour a day walking to and from my classes on campus, in between classes and so on. So they definitely receive plenty of use. The sound is good but sometimes bass can be a bit weak or even off. One major complaint I have about these headphones is the way that they connect to my smart phone for playing music. The connection cord is straight instead of curved at the point were the connection is made. My phone is usually in my pants pockets and so the cord gets bent slightly which has caused the audio to cut out from time to time or other times I can only hear audio through one of the ear buds. In conclusion for the price these earbuds are very good. However, I would recommend spending a bit more money and buy a better set of headphones...you get what you pay for I guess.

Whenever somebody asks me for recomendations for quality headphones on a budget, I always recommend the JVC Marshmallow Headphones. These headphones are a major upgrade from any stock headphones that come with mp3 players. They are very durable and will last through many years. I have had mine for 3 years now, and it is still working! The cushioning for the ear offers a very tight seal, a bit better than other competition with their silicone inserts. However, they do not last as long. After a couple months, they have to be replaced with a new cushion because they become rock hard. I find that they are best for casual listening at home or for places with moderate amounts of noise like a car ride or an airplane trip. The seal can drown out the noise quite well. I would not recommend these headphones for running because you are able to hear anything that touches the cords. The sound quality is superb with nice audible highs and mids, but a big bass that can seem a bit overwelming at times.
