We were looking for a new HDTV, and we found a great one in this JVC model. Picture Quality Whether watching movies or sports, this tv shows a sharp picture, even in fast action sequences. Sound Quality I prefer to hook my tv into a sound system, so I can't say much about the durability of these speakers (we've had older tv speakers give out from too loud of sounds in movies). But I did test these speakers to make sure they worked before hooking up the sound system, and they have a quality sound. Design Our previous tv was not a flat screen, and it was quite bulky, and it required a wide stand to be able to sit on. So I was looking for a flat screen, and this one takes up much less space than our previous one. I was hesitant to hang it on the wall simply because I would be nervous about such an expensive tv falling. But we have it on a narrower stand that takes up less space than our previous stand. The 42 inch screen is large enough to see clearly even from across the room (high definition also helps with this), but it is not so large that it takes over the room and is a monstrosity.
