For years, the only perfumes I wore was either Ginger by Origins or Ocean from Bath & Body Works.  When I got engaged, I decided to find the perfect wedding scent.I didn't want anything too floral, and I wanted the scent to be unique.  I was in London, and my friend suggested L'eau d'Issey by Issey Miayke.  This is his signature scent in a very cool, frosted conical bottle.It is a fresh, vibrant scent.  Although it is quite floral, the mix is nothing I had smelled before. Lillies, freesia, and peonies dominate.  It also has a hint of musk or woodsiness, but just the tiniest hint.Now every time I wear the scent (which is often!) it reminds me of my lovely wedding day. :)

I have been wearing this perfume for about 5 years now and have yet to tire of it. I first ran into it when I was given a small tester sample and I knew I had to have it. For me, it strikes the perfect balance between sexy/appealing and floral/fresh. There is just something abouit that smell that I absolutely love! While the perfume is not necessarily the best value, all of my bottles have lasted me a really long time. As I said, i've been wearing it for about 5 years and I've only gone through 2 bottles, if that. Given, I do wear other perfumes but I think a bottle will last a decent amount of time. Speaking of lasting, this perfume DOES fade away throughout the day, especially when applied to skin. I've noticed that if I spray my shirt or jacket the smell will last much longer. Guys are always complementing me on the smell or someone will keep asking who is wearing that and what is it. And my boyfriend loves it :)

Perfume should never be overbearing!  I grow up being told that your perfume should never be so much or so overpowering that you smell it from across the room it should be smell with a  three feet radius at most.  Perfume is a very individualize product as it does only depend on the scent in the bottle or when initially sprayed but the scent which remains when mixed with your individual body chemistry.  I like this perfume because it hits all the notes.  It is light, airy, floral and mixes well with individual body scents.  This is one of my new favorites and my mother love it as well.  I love the scent, it makes me feel extremely feminine and special when I wear it.  It makes me feel beautiful which is hard to do as I have back on some weight in the last three years.  I love the freshness of the scent and also the hint of musk at the end.  I am not a girly girl but this perfume makes me feel special.  If you are in the market for a new perfume and want something light then this would be a great option.

L'eu D'issey is floral, fresh, and smells delicious, but spray too much, and it is overwhelming, so definitely stay on the conservative side when you use this. I don't know if it's just my bottle, but it seems like at least one other person here has the same issue. The musky-woody aspect to it makes it seem more mature than the usual light, floral scents. But it's definitely not a scent reserved for older women... I'm in my 20s, and it makes me feel much more sophisticated when I wear it. It lasts for at least 6 hours (through the night), which is the longest that I've ever worn it. I've never worn it from morning to evening, so I cannot attest to that, but it does have decent staying power. I would recommend it for evening use, as it does seem a bit too heavy for everyday use, but each to her own. As with any perfume, definitely try it before you buy it because L'eu D'issey is expensive. If it works with your body chemistry, it's definitely worth the splurge! I wish I had bought the

After years of smelling numerous different types of cologne and not being able to pull the trigger on one, I was finally referred to Issey Miyake.  The name alone has an exotic sound to it and sounds great coming off the tongue.  Also, it is easy to pronounce and its a name that a fair amount of people know and love. The price is a little on the expensive side, but you definitely get what you pay for.  I am a male, 26 years of age, and I feel like this is a very mature, professional smelling cologne.  It's scent is recognizable enough where I've had people point out which cologne I was wearing, yet unique enough where I've had people inquire as to what I was wearing as well.  Just how wearing the same clothes as someone is annoying and uncomfortable, I feel as if wearing the same cologne as someone is the same. I usually wear this cologne at night time; going out to dinner, parties, clubs or just hanging out.  It's a great buy and I've gotten plenty of positive comments from this scent.

Issey Miyake L'eau D'issey Perfume is the perfect combination of fresh and complex. The bottle itself is designed incredibly well, and we all know there is something to be said about a beautiful bottle on our counter. The smell is exciting and long-lasting, and seems to work equally well on a variety of people - three generations in my family have used it, and all of us: my grandmother, my mother and I enjoy it. It's not quite an everyday scent - it's definitely more of a night scent than a day scent, and it seems more adult than some of the younger, fruity smells. This would be the perfect scent for a dinner party or a dress-up event. I think it's worth the price (it tends to be in the higher end), because it's multi layered. It's a sophisticated fragrance. I think of galas and award shows (like the Oscars) when I wear it, of long gowns and champagne flutes. A secret- when I go into department stores, it's the fragrance I reach for in the sample isle.

This perfume is my all time favorite. Every time I wear it, I get compliments. Issey Miyake L'Eau D'Issey Femme Eau de Toilete Spray is soft and floral with a subtle smell that lingers. I have had women follow me in the mall and the supermarket to find out what I am wearing. A lot of people I know don't know about this one, but it is fantastic. Truly lovely!As always, you may not find that the perfume is right for you, but I would recommend seeking it out to try. You might find it to be the perfect one for you.I always find myself looking at perfumes with similar smells. I have tried Burberry, Estee Lauder, Chanel, and others but I always find myself coming back to Miyake's L'Eau D'Issey. I have also tried the lighter summer version, but that one was way too subtle for me.I have converted my new daughter in law as well my husband (with the men's fragrance, of course) to be L'Eau D'Issey fans as well! The packaging is beautiful and elegant. It looks stunning on my dressing table. This is the perfume I turn to, day after day, never tiring of it. I love the convenience of the spray. It is super simple to spray in the morning and know you are covered for the day with a scent that will not offend.I also like the fact that refills are available. That can save you money in the end since you don't have to keep buying a new perfume bottle each time you run out.

Issey Myaki perfume is a light, airy scent that is refreshing.  Every time I wear it, which is daily, I receive compliments.  It lasts the entire day and is like a breath of fresh air.  It is a bit pricy but worth it as it lasts a long time since you don't have to use much.  It is the only perfume I use.

This is the best perfume I have ever used!!!  There is nothing else like it...simply fabulous!  I have worn it off and on for years and whenever I run out I am so depressed!  It's a little on the pricey side but well worth it.  It lasts throughout the day and I get a lot of compliments on it.  It's not too heavy, it's just right!  Try it -- you won't be disappointed!
