I had tried a Irazu habanero sauce that was nothing special so I was not expecting too much from the ghost pepper variety but I was pleasantly surprised. Irazu Ghost Pepper Extreme 70 Volcanic Pepper Sauce may have a really long & weird name so I checked it out to see why it was that way and found out that the 70 in the name means that 70% of what is in the hot sauce bottle is ghost peppers. Guess that is why even I thought it was hot. No sweating or turning red for me but my mouth could feel the burn and it did warm my insides pretty good. Naga Jolokia Peppers, Water, Salt, Vegetable Oil, Garlic Pulp & Acetic Acid are the ingredients listed on the bottle but if you are not used to real heat you probably be suffering from the heat and wont notice the garlicy goodness this also has. Also apparently there is a real volcano named Irazu or in an area called Irazu, I bet you can buy this stuff in the gift shop, I know I would. Probably too hot for most people but for the true hot head it is perfect. All hot sauce should be like this one is, great heat & great taste.
