The Icy Hot Patches I Tried to use on lower neck. To stick practically have to lay down why using it. And hardly heats or cools

Ive been using icyHot for a month..I do and always have felt the cold/and medicine etc..BUT no heat at all..No matter, it works for me, I use it on my thumbs for arthritis and my thighs. it does help but not for long, I have to use it daily,,I use it to help me sleep..I think its best on market for now, I will try something different ( BRAND) next week. I would recommend it for mild muscle aches..

I work in a casino as an overnight housekeeper and before I started using icy hot patches extra strength I was in so much pain after my shift I couldn't move but I tried the patches and I could move after without being in pain they really work

Not a very effective product. Doesn't get hot or relieve pain , it just smells good. Slanpas seems to get hot and relieve pain more.

I have a slight muscle pull from of all things picking of a golf ball. I bought Icy Hot patches and at first had a hard time putting one on. In any case. No Icy and very little Hot. I'll never buy it again and definitely won't suggest it to a friend. Terrible stuff

Awful smell, so much stronger than any other similar product, to the point of giving me a burning tongue, sore throat, and a headache. The product never did get "hot" on my skin, it stayed uncomfortably cold until I was forced to wash it off (and change my clothing!) Terrible, terrible stuff. I did not feel it was comfortable once applied, and would not recommend to anyone, ESPECIALLY if you are odor-sensitive!

I had always used the gel version of Icy Hot and had success so I decided to give the medicated spray a chance. The smell of the spray is slightly different from the gel, but it's just as strong. When I sprayed it on my sore shoulders I had my mouth open and some of the mist caused me to gag. Instantly on contact the spray cooled my shoulder and preceded to warm up. A couple drops of spray trickled down my arm and I was amazed by how a tiny amount was able to be effective in heating up my bicep. After using this spray over the course of several weeks I found it to be better than the gel version because it doesn't leave any residue behind and evaporates minutes after applying, while maintaining its effectiveness. The only issue I have with this spray is that either I'm spraying too much or there's not enough in a can. When I push down the top the spray just shoots out of the can with a decent amount of force. A 4 oz. bottle will only last me about 3 weeks, but luckily this product isn't too expensive so I can always buy another.

I have arthritis and I was told that this stuff was a miracle! Ha it did nothing but make my joints colder there was no hot to it at all. And I was trying to get away from the cold it was what was making me hurt in the first place. NO GOOD Effectiveness I thought that I was going to be getting some relief from my arthritis pain, but it only made it worse. The pads did not get warmer once they were applied to my achy shoulders I just kept waiting and I was rewarded with a slight cooling sensation that was the opposite of helping me. I have so much better results from DMSO (dimethyel sulferoxide) It is made from pine resin and works wonders in a wide range of ailments. It can be purchased at pharmacies and also at Feed and Seed Supply Stores. It is very useful on animals as a linament. It is great. Ease of Use I guess it would need to be easy to use since it doesn't do anything. All you do is slap on the little patch of coldness and wait for your pain to intensify. Because that is all it did for me.

I've tried several Icy Hot products but when I saw the spray available online I picked up a supply. I figured it would be much less messy than the cream. For everyday achy muscles from overexertion this is a great alternative to pills. It targets the area you need it in and nothing else. What I love about the spray above the creams or balms is that this is super easy to use. You just spray it on and you're ready to go. It dries almost instantly, unlike the cream which takes a bit to absorb. This also, thankfully, sprays in any position, even upside down! So you can get those tough to reach places without the container refusing to spray. This does share the menthol type smell of the other products in the line but it doesn't seem as strong and overpowering. This seems to go to work almost immediately and in under an hour I feel like my usual self again. It isn't particularly long lasting though. Sometimes, but not often, I find that I need to reapply it after a couple of hours. Overall, this has become my new favorite product from the brand and is a great alternative to creams. It does not stain, is completely non-greasy, and dries super fast. Plus it works! I definitely recommend it!

Once again a year of teaching on my feet all day has left me with severely aching feet and a throbbing big toe. The last thing I wanted to do is spend my summer laid up with a heating pad or taking too many pain tablets. I thought the spray would be great for me as my hands are quite sensitive to various creams and medications. I love the ease in which you can cover a large area with the medicine without having to touch the cream. Instantly the medicine made my heels and toe feel tingly and warm. There was a nice feeling of warmth that came over the area and I was able to walk with greater comfort and had fewer moments of shooting pain in my heel. I used the spray as soon as I got up in the morning and the comfort lasted until the evening. I again sprayed my heels and toe at night and the stiffness and tenderness eased tremendously. I want to give a tip: please use this in a well ventilated area. I once used this in my car and the odor was quite strong. The formula is a little runny when you first put it on. I made sure to hang my feet and heels over the edge of the tub.
