For some reason I developed spastixity in the last couple of months and haven't been able to get into a doctor. Other than that have been healthy. I researched all over the Web and could not find any otc drugs to help that I could by in store and muscle relaxers require rx. I walked into CVS and found this. Although it relieved my spasms within minutes, the pain persisted and seemed stronger, maybe due to not being able to release in a spasm. I will try it longer and maybe combine some ibuprofen. I have had many sleepless nights due to restless legs. The jerking and twitching drive me crazy and I find myself stretching my legs when I'm laying down but with little relief. I have Restless Leg Syndrome and am trying to avoid going on medication for it. I saw an article which mentioned Hyland's Restful Legs and decided to try it since it is a homeopathic type remedy. I am very impressed with this product and highly recommend it. I can usually tell before I lie down if my legs are going to be jumpy. I take three tablets and let them melt under my tongue, and within about thirty minutes the jumpy and restless sensation eases off. Even if it doesn't completely go away, it settles down enough that I can get to sleep. Even though my worst problem is when I lie down at night, sometimes my legs get jumpy when I sit for a long time like at church or while watching a movie. So I make sure to keep this product in my purse, and if I sense that I may have problems then I go ahead and take three tablets. I have never had a negative side effect from this product and am so glad that it is available and easy to find in stores.

I suffer from Restless Leg Syndrome or RLS and it really takes a very large toll on me being able to sleep at night and to get a good nights rest. My legs constantly are moving and this not only makes it hard for me to sleep, but it makes it very difficult for my spouse to be able to sleep as well. I am a regular user of Hyland's restless leg. I had been useing another very expensive over the counter brand as well as horsechestnut but both of them are more expensive than Hyland's and neither one works as quickly. The pills melt quickly and work very well and very quickly and with no side effects. Occasionally I will have to reach for a second dose but most of the time one dose works well. As a counselor, I sit a lot and sometimes have restless leg during a session. I keep a couple in my pocket and I know I will be able to get through the sessions without worrying about whether my legs will be crawling. They also come in a small narrow plastic container which is easy to carry in a purse or a pocket. I make a point never to be without them.

I was diagnosed with RLS a few years ago but the meds my doctor gave me, Requip being one, didn't work. They did not alleviate the jerking, itching and crawling sensations in my legs. The side effects were pretty bad too and so I quit taking medication and tried to resign myself to RLS. Lately the symptoms were really impairing my ability to sleep, especially yhr leg jerks.
