Hunts Fire Roasted Tomatoes with Garlic: Time Saving Delight

5

I first heard of fire roasted tomatoes in a can while watching a cooking show a while back. I thought it sounded wonderful so I went and got some Hunt's brand fire roasted tomatoes. Of course they were delicious and better than I had imagined. Then I went to get more and I saw the fire roasted tomatoes with garlic already in them. What a surprise and such a great idea! They really tasted like you worked all day getting the spices and flavors right. It saves you time because you don't have to peel the garlic and then roast it or saute it. Hunt's has mastered the fire roasting and garlic tomatoes together. I use them whenever possible. Great in any recipe!

Makes meals taste great and so healthy

I do not like Hunt's Fire roasted diced tomato's with garlic straight out of the can. But they sure make other meals taste really delicious when added to them. I use Hunt's Fire roasted diced tomato's when I make sauce for speghetti and they truly spice up the flavor. I also add them to home made vegeterian vegetable soup, and Pizza. Tomato's and garlic both lower cholesterol. The Lycopene in Tomato's is good for maintaining eye sight as we age. And tomatoes are rich in vitamins . Unlike other products that lose nutritional value when cooked, the health benefits of tomatooes is increased when they are cooked and processed. Hunts diced tomatoes are low in calories but big on taste and nutrition.

T'maters with Garlic, Yup, That About Says It All!

5

If you've looked at my profile photos you'll see that I love home grown veggies.  There is nothing that compares to the flavor of fresh, as we say here in the south, 'maters picked right off the vine and sliced with your supper.  Last year I had a bountiful tomato harvest.  I canned most of them and gave many away to friends and neighbors.  I also love freshly made tomato sauces with Italian herbs and garlic.  Earlier this year, I'd opened the last of my canned tomatoes, and I needed some for our spaghetti dinner.  I had a coupon for two cans of **Hunt's Fire Roasted Diced Tomatoes with Garlic **and thought I'd try it.  The first thing I noticed was the generous size of the tomatoes!  They were diced chucky like I dice my own. I could actually see the herbs and garlic clinging to the tomatoes. The tomatoes also have those beautiful fire roasted grill marks!  I tossed both cans into the spaghetti.  No leftovers here, the **Hunt's Fire Roasted Diced Tomatoes with Garlic** were great!  I've continued to buy them as my "If I didn't grow them myself, my top of the list diced tomatoes" choice.  In my opinion, I'd have to say, "Fire roasted 'maters with garlic, yup, that about says it all!" **Nutrition Facts:**  One half cup of **Hunt's Fire Roasted Diced Tomatoes with Garlic** is only 25 calories, with zero fat and supply 2g of daily fiber.  However if you're watching your salt intake they have 300mg of sodium.

Add flavor with Hunt's Fire Roasted Diced Tomatoes w/ Garlic

5

We are a pasta loving family. We are always making spaghetti or lasagna and other tomoatoe based dishes. I discovered Hunt's Fire Roasted Diced Tomatoes with Garlic several months ago and the flavor they add to my dishes is wonderful and the added touch of Garlic completes my dishes. I have always depended on Hunts for my dishes, store brands are just not the same. Hunts Fire Roasted Diced Tomatoes, with Garlic was a welcomed member to our household. I keep talking pasta dishes but these tomoatoes can be used in all sorts of ways. You might add them to meat loaf or chili for added flavor. I also like the fire roasted look the tomatoes have to them, give your recipe add color for character. Trust Hunts, we do! So if you like to cook with tomoatoes, please give these a try. I made Taco Soup last night which called for petite diced tomatoes, I substituted Hunt's Fire Roasted instead for an added kick... my family loved it.

Perfect for Mexican-Style Rice

5

I saw this product at my grocery store and bought them on a whim.  I figured they might add a little something to my tried and true Mexican-style rice.  I was really impressed with how great a difference they made.  My husband has always been a take-it-or-leave-it person when it comes to this kind of rice, but the Hunt's Fire Roasted Tomatoes with Garlic has brought about a real conversion.   He loves it!  The roasted flavor is very evident and the garlic seasons the tomatoes thoroughly -- far better than adding garlic to plain canned tomatoes. Riding the wave of success with my rice, I used them next in my Sopa Fideo and it was fantastic!  I will continue to use this product exclusively for both dishes and expect I will find further uses for it in my cooking going forward. If I'm being completely honest, I must add that this product, upon opening, does have the characteristic aroma of canned tomatoes -- a bit "tinny" -- and I would therefore hesitate to use them in a dish that does not allow for some simmering time to lose that canned taste.

Improve the flavor of any tomato dish with Fire Roasted Hunt's

5

I purchased the Hunt's Fire Roasted Tomatoes with garlic when I happened to have a manufacturers coupon. After years of using plain diced canned tomatoes I will never use them again. The fire roasting and garlic adds incredible flavor to any dish. You hardly need to add any other seasoning. Use in pasta sauces, soups and you will be wowed.
