Less comfortable than it looks
Bradshaw couch is a great looking piece of furniture that can be had for a reasonable price from Slumberland. The color is a fashinable burgundy that goes with many color schemes in your home, and the toss pillows that come with the sofa have a nice contemporary pattern. The sofa has rectangular arm-rests, which I thought was important, so that you could put a drink on it. Turns out, it really does look better than it drives. Here are my observations: I am short, about 5'5". If I sit with my back all the way to the back of the sofa, my feet are a bit off the ground. However, when I lie down on this couch, it's not long enough to fit the whole length of me. I am also relatively skinny. My weight (about 130lbs) is not enough to make a meaningful impression in the back cushions. This means that I have to actually use force to push myself into the back of the couch. If I'm trying to lie on it with a book, the cushions basically keep me at the outer edge of the seat. Not cool. So, if you're considering this piece, test it carefully before buying.
