i was given this microwave when ours died. it's an under the counter type. we use it right on the counter though (maybe the next place we will be able to add it that way. but for now it's a wonderful microwave. we have had it for 2 1/2yrs so far. very very nice. it has several different functions for several different foods. it is also very very easy to work. it has a turn table inside for easy cooking. it's also easy to clean. has a vent over the top with a fan and light. it's not compact. but it can hold some large foods. probably not a turkey. but then i would never cook a turkey in the microwave anyway. so that isn't something i would be enjoyable. it is rather large tho. we were given this gift brand new. it has some really nice settings and does a good job of defrosting without a problem. it's also pretty sturdy. we use it a lot! it's a big workhorse and i would definitely recommend this microwave for anybody!!!
