My husband and I had been running on a very, very old treadmill that had been a hand-me-down from my grandparents(!!) so - probably about 30 years old, when it died on us. We decided we wanted to really get serious about running and start doing 5k races, so we wanted to invest in a decent treadmill, but without spending a ton of money. We found the Horizon treadmill at our local Dunham's Sporting Goods Store - and it has been amazing. We have had it for about 2 years, and it has worked perfectly for us. While we are by no means professional runners, I do think it is comparable to some of the higher end, more expensive models that you could find. It has a pretty decent sized belt that is smooth and very easy to run on. It has hookups for your iPod, speakers, a fan, overall I just think it's a great treadmill for this price point. We have been extremely happy with this treadmill and I would definitely recommend this product to someone who is looking for a nice treadmill without breaking the bank. Performance It runs very smoothly and is really pretty quiet. No trouble whatsoever in the two years we have had it. Comfort Easy to run on. Durability So far, so good!
