This daybed has been an amazing addition to my photography studio room that doubles as our guest room when we have family and friends visit. This bed was a bit on the pricey side but now that I have had for awhile it has proven to be more than worth the price tag. It is a beautiful wood frame with solid wood slats for stability and strength. The mattress was not included but not too big a deal. It can be used as a couch or twin bed depending on your preference. I use it as a sitting area for my photography clients during my sessions and then as a bed for guests. I have used it myself as a place to relax after long newborn sessions and it is very relaxing and comfortable allowing for plenty of room. This daybed also has two storage drawers built into the bottom, front which is great for extra sheets and some of my most often used photography props. It did take a bit of time for assembly but not very hard with the directions included.

Sometimes when my sons or friends come to visit the quest room isn't enough. So for more space for guests I purchased this Home Styles Daybed for in my home office. It worked out perfectly. I didn't want to put a queen bed in there because I like the space for my home office and didn't want to feel cramped. Or like I am working in a bedroom, I wanted the space still to be my office space. This bed worked out perfectly. It doesn't take up a lot of floor space for one thing. Second,.. I put a beautiful comforter on top in lighter gray and with some toss pillows and a white shag rug on the floor in front of bed, It looks so pretty. The back arched piece in the back really adds style to the bed. The sleek lines of the sides look so stylish. It has two very large drawers underneath which is so practical. They slide open and closed so softly. I use one of the drawers to put extra sheets and blankets, and the other I leave empty for quests to put their belongings in. The handles are done in a nice silver color. All in all this has worked out really well. I still have my home office, and it looks like I have a pretty sitting area, instead of a bed in there. My guest seem to enjoy it! Finally, overflow of guest in a bed instead of blowup mattresses.

Overall I am enjoying this day bed only 4 months into having it. However, I am a little uneasy about Home Styles Brand not having warranties on this product and for the price I paid for the Bedford Daybed I am taking a huge risk with not having one. I am a little concerned about the overall sturdiness of this daybed as it isn't as solid (structure wise) as it appears to be in the pictures online. Now that the cons, and the reason I rated it an 8 overall, are out of the way I will focus on the pros of it. The color scheme of the entire Bedford Daybed is gorgeous and adds a bit of pizazz to my bedroom. I love the storage drawers as that is another space saver in itself. The biggest pro and the reason I bought the Bedford Daybed is the amount of space it saves in my bedroom now that I switched out my full size bed for it. It's just me in the bed so I didn't mind switching to a twin size, which is what this daybed folds out into. So far so good with it holding up and I really hope I don't have to come back and lower my rating due to a structural catastrophe not backed up with a warranty.
