We have baseboard heating in our house so it can get pretty dry in our rooms from time to time, especially if we have them turned up in the rooms that connect. I was often finding my nose was stuffy in the mornings so I was gifted this humidifier from a friend who no longer needed it. The sound is not bothersome to us as we like noise in the background when we sleep and it gives our room, which has a walk in closet, a decent amount of moisture. We haven't had a problem with mold and to clean it we mix white vinegar with some water and mix it around which makes for easy clean up and refresher. I would recommend this humidifier to anyone looking, we've not been disappointed with it and it's holding up nicely.

I had this humidifier for a long time. It's a decent product. I use it for my baby's room during winter. On top of keep enough moisture, it also adds heat in the room. I like it. It has few levels you can adjust the heat and moisture. I always use the highest one. However, it stopped working this winter and it only work from full tank of water to 2/3 tank of water then it will stop release steam. It's very strange. I figured it's probably not worth fixing than buying a new one. The downside of this is water open is at the bottom of the tank, so it might have little leak sometimes. As for cleaning, I never did any cleaning other than regular rinse. The open is not that big and tank is little deep for regular brushes, so it's not have easy way to clean it unless you buy some kind of really long brushes.
