I've used this saw at work extensively and I have to say, its one of the better saws I've used. Accurate and dependable Through several thousand cuts I have no complaints the only problems I ran into had nothing to do with the saw and everything to do with operator error. This saw is not the lightest and I would strongly recommend installing it on a portable stand, maybe a folding one with wheels or having two strong guys to help move it and set it up. Hitachi is known for quality tools (some of their other miter saws not withstanding) and this is another good example of their high quality professional and Semi-professional tools. I would have no problem recommending this saw to anyone in the market for a good quality, accurate miter saw, this includes both home owners looking to work on advanced do it yourself projects and professional contractors looking for a good saw to take to the job site.
