Perscription food for your kittys health

5

Ingrediants as described and helped our cat with many digestive issues. We saw good results in about a week. Our cat had many stomach and absorption issues but this helped calm the problems down and gave him the nutrition he needed. Quality of Ingredients There were no real additives or fillers in this that would be an irritant to our cats tummy issues. The firs few days we were switching the food from one to another slowly and we could see the change already! The other brands of food we had tried we think the irritant was the food color and the artificial flavorings, but this he had no problems after we had fully switched over. When we switched back tot he other food as we had run out of the ID and the Vets was closed we hat to go back to his old food and we could tell within a few hours it was the ingredients in the old food that was causing the problems Flavor Selection I think this had the fish flavor an he took to it right away as that was his favorite flavor of food.

Great for my cat with IBD

5

My cat has IBD (inflammatory bowel disease) and is very picky about foods and has a sensitive stomach. Because of this, for the past couple of years she has been plagued by flareups of vomiting and diarrhea every 4-5 months. I have tried lots of different diets for her with little success until we started Hill's prescription i/d. She's been eating Hill's dry i/d for months now and has been doing very well on it (no flare ups). It is designed to be highly digestible which is very important for a cat with IBD. Currently, she free feeds from a food bowl. I have noticed that she eats more of the id than other foods she's been on in the past because of its easily digestible composition -- as opposed to the premium grain free diet she was on in the past which required less food to fuel her -- so I do have to buy food for her more often which can get expensive. But it is worth it to have her healthy and ultimately saves me money in vet bills. If you have a cat with digestive issues, I would definitely recommend that you give Hill's Prescription id dry food a try.

Hill's ID cat food renewed our cat's quality of life

5

Hill's Science Diet prescription ID food has quality ingredients.  There is no rancid or unclean aroma to it.  We fed our cat both the wet and the dry ID for a few weeks until our cat's digestion was comfortable for him again.  The ID can only be purchased through a vetinarian as it is prescription food.  Since the ID food did it's job, we've switched to the       non-prescription, gourmet Hill's canned food.  Less costly and the cat loves it.
