I have used **Hefty One Zip Jumbo 2.5 Gallon Storage Bags** in a plethora of different ways. My husband is in the military, so I often use these bags to give him snack mix in a week's supply. He's used them to keep things water-proof when he's out "camping" with other Marines. Another favorite use is to make a huge batch of Chex Mix or my yummy spicy pretzels. They are great because you simply throw all your ingredients in the bag, zip it, and then just shake it up in a way that you couldn't if you were to use a big bowl. Going camping or travel alot? **Hefty One Zip Jumbo 2.5 Gallon Storage Bags** are great for bringing a whole bunch of smaller stuff and keeping it all in one place. I love these storage bags! While preparing for last month's tropical vacation, I bought a box of *Hefty Jumbo 2.5 Gallon Storage Bags* to help me with the packing process. Last year my shampoo bottle exploded all over my clothes, so this year I decided to buy big plastic bags to pack the liquids in. These *Hefty Jumbo Storage Bags *have a 2.5 gallon capacity with a zipper closure. The box suggests using them to store bakery items, casseroles, clothes, arts and craft supplies, and large fruits like watermelons. Apparently you can also defrost and/or reheat foods by placing the bag of food on a microwave safe plate, opening the zip closure about an inch, and microwaving it while keeping a close eye on it to prevent the bag from melting or breaking. I've only used these bags for two things thus far. My first use was for packing liquids like shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, aloe, and even a bottle of vodka on the way down. On the way back, I used them for the leftover personal care products and the 3 bottles of flavored tequila that I was bringing back home. They really have a large capacity so I was able to get everything into just 3 of them and they fit easily into my bag. Nothing exploded or broke in transit, so I didn't really get to test them out during my travel. I have used these bags to hold turkey breasts, whole chickens, and large cuts of beef that have been rubbed down with garlic and spices so they can marinate overnight. The "one zip click" closure is very tight and has not allowed any of the marinade to escape out of the bag as it sits in the fridge for several hours or even up to a day. I've been very happy with these *Hefty Jumbo 2.5 Gallon Slider Bags* and will definitely keep them on hand in the future. They are great for packing personal care items for travel and they also work wonderfully for marinating large pieces of meat. Recommended!

I recently discovered that I really do prefer the Hefty One Zip bags to the Ziploc color-lock system. There is just something about the zip and click action that leaves no question about whether the bag is open or close that I really like. Not only do I use the Hefty gallon bags for food storage (both in the fridge and the freezer) but I also use them a lot for storing other random, non-food things like toys, craft supplies, games, etc. I like these bags because my three year old daughter can zip and un-zip them which is useful when her things are stored in them. I have not had any problems with anything leaking from these bags and I oftentimes am able to rinse out the bag and reuse it which I like because it means less waste. Yes these bags are more expensive than a store brand but you can frequently find sales, use coupons or buy in bulk to lessen the cost and I think the extra money is worth it.

Hefty One Zip Jumbo Multi-purpose 2.5 Gallon Storage Bags are awesome!! We use these every time we travel. The airlines have started everyone on using storage bags to put things in for carry ons so I guess I have started using storage bags even in my checked luggage. We recently traveled together as a family to Florida and I used these bags in everyones suitcases to put underwear and socks in then pressed all the air out of them before zipping them shut and what a space saver, when we traveled home all the dirty stuff went into these bags making it very easy to just dump the stuff into the washer and our clean clothes stayed clean, away from the dirty stuff!! I also used these bags in our carry on luggage for coloring books and crayons, snacks, video games and equiptment, etc... These make being organized so much easier the kids just have to grab a bag out of the carry on to get what they want instead of messing up the entire suitcase!

Puzzles, left overs, shake and bake... All great things to put in Hefty One Zip Jumbo bags. I love that these bags hold up really well, and they can be reused. We seldom are missing puzzle pieces, because 2 1/2 gallon bags are plenty to hold all the pieces. No matter how big of a meal I make for my family of 5, there is always plenty of room in a Hefty Bag to fit in the left overs so my husband and kids can eat what's left the next day. These bags are so durable, I have even been able to wash them after using them, let them air dry, and have used them again! The zipper on the top is really easy to use, and is much preferred to the press close tops. Even my two year old is able to get herself a snack if she wants! My only problem is the cost. Unlike many items, I find it a bit difficult to find coupons to close the price gap between this product and similar ones. Is the quality better? Yes. Is it a big enough quality difference to justify spending a lot more? Not to me. I normally just wait until they're on sale and/ or I find a coupon.

I love this size.. These larger bags are great for so many things..  My kids have many of the chunky preschool puzzles.   these fit in the 2  1/2 gallon bags perfectly.  If they drop the puzzle.. it's contained in the bag..  I also like packing clothes in these for travel. you never know if a suitcase will break open..   also great to send with your child for sports,.  smelly sports laundry, and wet cleats travel best when sealed..  contains the smell.. this is also a great size for toiletries when travelling,  storing bags of snack crackers,  chips to keep freshness in an moisture and pantry moths out.  another helpful use is to support bag using an embroidery ring.. and used as an air sickness/ car sickness bag..   cant hurt to have this handy if your picking up an ill child from school...   just slip the embroidery ring off when done, zip up the bag and smell / germs are contained. This is a trick I learned on the ambulance.   "Nastiness" just shoots out of emesis basins.

I discovered the Hefty OneZip JUMBO Multi-purpose 2.5 GALLON Storage bags about 4-5 year ago.  I have seriously gone through AT LEAST 20 boxes of them...I love them THAT MUCH!!!  I only wish I was the one that invented them.  First and foremost...I LOVE the size.  They are great for a multitude of tasks.  You can easily store a pair of pants, shirt, socks and underwear for your kiddos preschool or daycare...also to pack in a suitcase.  It's nice if you are sending your little one to their Grandparents house.  It makes it easy if you put the whole outfit together for each day in a Hefty OneZip Jumbo bag.  I have also used Hefty OneZip Jumbo bags when I have packed my house for moving.  It's great to clean out drawers and dump everything from 1 kitchen drawer in 1 storage bag.  It makes it SO easy to unpack when you get to your new house/apt.  Not to mention it's great to store baked goods, fruit, veggies and an array of leftovers.  Being able to put food in them for storage in the refrigerator allows you to stick it in a tight or awkward spot.  I could go on-and-on...they are just that great!
