A friend gave me a Christmas Basket that had several kinds of foods I had not tried before. In the basket was a jar of **Hannaford Inspiratons Bumbleberry Fruit Spread. **It looked like a jar of jam and it took me a while before I opened it. What a mistake. I can't believe how good this stuff is; in fact, I can't get enough of it. I love texture when I eat so my favorites include chunky over smooth peanut butter, preserves over jellies, lots of pulp over pulp-free orange juice and fresh vegetables over canned. If you have the same preferences in food, you will love this fruit spread. Made with big chunks of sun ripened strawberries, sweet red raspberries, juicy loganberries & wild Maine blueberries, this is the closest you'll get to fresh fruit in a fruit spread. One serving is equal to one tablespoon of fruit spread. Each serving is worth 25 calories, none of which come from fat. The spread is high [96%] in carbohydrates however. It is also high in Vitamin C [90%] so rationalization says it is a trade off.
