I have a Hamilton Beach 16 Speed Blender which is very handy in the kitchen. So much so, it is like having an extra helper with you. My blender will break ice, grate, grind, beat, shred, blend, liquify, frappe, pulse, stir, aerate, puree, chop, crumb, mix and even has a quick clean option. The slick design goes very well with my Hamilton Beach Toaster. The top of this blender is 40 ounces and made of glass. This blender works very well and has been holding up good for all the jobs I have put it through. It has adjustable speeds on it. Blenders need to be securely fastened to prevent items from coming out the top. You need to make sure the cap is pushed down before you start the blender.The glass container will come off and can easily be taken apart for cleanup. Even the blades can come off so they can be washed, dried and put back securely in place.
