Is not necessary to use a lot of fat to cook in this wonderful! has greatly helped me with getting food on the table for a large family. With this grill, I can now fix at least six burgers at one time, which really speeds up the preparation time for dinner.

I love this Hamilton Beach Health Smart Indoor/Outdoor Grill. It does not have a top section like most indoor grills do, but instead is just a flat grill with a heating element underneath the rack. So this little grill cooks your food in the same way that your outdoor grill does, the only different is that this one is electric. This grill heats up fast and cooks your foods efficiently. The grease that cooks out of your food collects in a tray in the bottom and is very easy to discard when you're finished cooking. And since the grease drains away, you're eating much healthier. Cleaning this is not hard and it is inexpensive. It is small though and you can't cook a lot of food at once. But the small size makes it easy to store. I keep mine in the cabinet and take it out and put it on the counter when I am ready to use it. It has a knob to adjust the temperature and a nonstick surface so that food doesn't stick. Overall, this is a wonderful grill and I recommend it to anyone who wants an indoor grill. I do own several indoor grills. I use some of them frequently and others less frequently. The reason I have so many is because I have a large kitchen, plus I have some grills that I keep exclusively in our camper. Also when my husband and I got married, I had a few grills and so did he. I am constantly searching for the perfect grill that will serve all of my grilling needs and I like to try out new products.

The Hamilton Beach Health Smart Indoor/Outdoor Grill 31605A makes food more like a charcol or gas grill than the typical indoor grills with lids (which can easily dry food out or overcook it). I like this grill, and my husband absolutely loves this grill, because it is small enough to be portable. We use it outside when we need an additional grill and use it inside the kitchen or inside the garage when it is colder out. It heats up quickly and really gives food the grilled flavor that we love. It is not a big grill, but great for a couple people or to grill veggies on while the burgers are cooking on the big grill. We have even taken this grill to events to grill brats for people at a potluck. The cleanup is super easy as the grill plates come off and can easily be washed in the sink or dishwasher. I can't remember if the instructions actually say that the grill plates are dishwasher safe, but I do wash mine in the dishwasher and they turn out great.

A bit pricy, but I love the idea I like grilling because of how the fat can just drip away and the food tastes great. I've been looking for something that will help enhance my diet, but retaining all the nice flavors so that I actually stick to the diet. So, first this device has a temperature control, so you can adjust the heat to your liking. It's a very good nonstick surface with a plastic tray at the bottom that allows you to capture the excess fat that makes it to the bottom. This is also dishwasher friendly, so easy clean up. It's a large size, can fit a big family. I feel that if you can get it on sale, it would be the best outstanding deal ever for an indoor grill. I like this especially for chicken breast because chicken breasts can be very bland if you try to make it really healthy. This is a great buy and you do not need to use charcoal at all! I would rate this on the top of the health grills that are out there!

this is a very convenient tool to have in the kitchen, especially if you have older kids also, they can cook lots of quick and easy meals on this thing....my kids love to use it to cook breakfast, like pancakes and eggs, they also cook burgers on it, bacon, for the burgers....we've had it so long, and also moved and its still with us, its time to invest in another one, the side bar has dis attached itself, but, it still works, its like one of my best friends, i love to grill chicken breast on it, it cooks pretty fast too....
