I give this brand of crock pot an overall rating of very good. This product works very well each and every time I use it. And we use it quite a lot! My family is always asking me to use it for dinners. Time to Heat This rating I give a very good. The crock pot takes just the right amount of time to heat, not too fast, not too slow. The food comes out perfect each and every time I use it. Juicy moist and delicious! Cooking Performance I give a rating of very good in the cooking performance area. It cooks as good as the first day I brought mine home and mines a bit old! We've used it so many times I cant believe it works as well as it still does. We love it! Ease of Cleaning I have disabilities and arthritis so it can be real hard for me to use certain kitchen items. this product makes it so easy for me to use and to clean. Clean up is a breeze and you don't have to soak it forever to get it clean! Ease of Use This product is real easy for me to use. Clean up is a snap and its very easy to use this item. Design I love the variety of colors and design I can chose from on this item. Durability This product is durable and strong, holds a lot of food inside and still works like its brand new.

I wasn't really searching for a slow cooker when I stumbled upon this Hamilton Beach one but the store that I was shopping in, was offering it to me at a great price and so I decided to buy and try one. Meanwhile I've had my Hamilton Beach slow cooker for two years and I've never regretted buying it. In the contrary, it's been one of my best buys for the kitchen and every kitchen should have one in it! This Hamilton Beach slow cooker is durable and after two years of regular use it not only still functions but it still functions as well as the day that I bought it; It has a stylish stainless steel design that should match every modern kitchen; It never fails to cook my meals perfectly and on time and its ceramic inside that can be separated from its stainless steel outside, can easily be cleaned; And best of all, as mentioned above, it has an affordable price tag attached to it! The only negative regarding this Hamilton Beach slow cooker is that its stainless steel outside doesn't stay cool to the touch and does get rather hot, so it should be kept out of reach of children during cooking but other than that I highly recommend it! Time to Heat My Hamilton Beach slow cooker seems to always finish cooking my meals ahead of time! Cooking Performance My Hamilton Beach slow cooker fits the perfect amount for the average family and it never fails to cook my meals perfectly! Ease of Cleaning The ceramic inside of the Hamilton Beach slow cooker can be separated from its stainless steel outside and therefore it can easily be cleaned! Ease of Use This Hamilton Beach slow cooker is extremely easy to use! Just fill its ceramic inside, plug it in and turn it on! Design This Hamilton Beach slow cooker's stylish stainless steel design should match every modern kitchen! Functionally it's easy to use, however, its stainless steel outside doesn't stay cool to the touch and so it should be kept out of reach of children during cooking! Durability After two years of regular use my Hamilton Beach slow cooker not only still functions but it still functions as well as the day that I bought it and shows no wear and tear!

Hamilton Beach 7 qt slow cooker

I've had several slow cookers over the years but I have got to say that out of all of them my Hamilton Beach 7 qt slow cooker is the best by far. It's sleek, dependable, and oh so easy to use. I've cooked everything in it from pot roast with a heap of veggies to home made chili to feed 3 families. It sure beats standing over a hot stove any day, And clean up is a breeze, just pull out the pot and wash it!! This will definitely be the slow cooker I recommend to my family and friends!

Great cooker for the large family!

I use my slow cooker about twice a week. I have had this model for a year now and find it very durable. It cleans easily and the handle on the lid is still tight (a problem I had with others). This model is ideal for large families as it is a nice size. I have even cooked a whole chicken in it!

Hamilton Beach Crock Pot 7 quart

5

I received a Hamilton Beach seven quart crock pot as a birthday gift two years ago.  I had requested one because our family was growing in size and I needed a larger one to fit our family.  I love this crockpot!  I replaced my old round crock pot with the seven quart oval crock pot and found that it was a lot easier to fit roasts in since it was oval.  My old crock pot just had a low and high setting and the Hamilton Beach crock pot had a warm setting on it, something that I've really grown to enjoy.  My Hamilton Beach crock pot is white and one thing I discovered really quickly was that the white crock stained right away.  It has several spots on it that won't wash off, it's almost like it's part of the crock.  It doesn't affect anything, but it doesn't look all the way clean after washing it.  Other than that, I really enjoy my crockpot and use it at least once a week.  I would recommend this crockpot, but probably not in white if staining would bother you.

Great Crock Pot

The **Hamilton Beach 33176 7-Quart Slow Cooker  **is a  beast of a crock pot.  Meaning, it is HUGE!  I asked my husband to buy me a new one since I broke the knob off our last one.  He brought this one back for me and I really like it.   I like to make a lot of fresh meals ahead of time, freeze them  and then make them as I need them.  The Hamilton Beach Slow Cooker works like a charm.  The cooking surface is even, it is easy to use and cooks great.  ****I like the larger size because I can add more veggies and such when cooking a large roast and don't have to trim the tops off to get the lid to close (a problem with my old, smaller version).  The crock pot makes an easy clean up too.  I am able to store the pot in the fridge the night before and slip it into the cooker no problem.  I also like the keep warm setting.  It is convient to use when the hubby calls and says he'll be late.  Overall a great product, even if it is a little on the larger size.

Ham Beach Slow Cooker Bites

I was thrilled to finally replace my circa-1981 "crockpot" with a brand spanking new Hamilton Beach 7-quart slow cooker - stainless steel even - that I could hardly stand it!  I immediately gave my old antique away and set to creating marvelous dinners for those days when we'd be gone all day but wanted to return to a home-cooked meal.  I liked the fact that the ceramic cooking container was removable for ease of cleaning and storage in the refrigerator, the new "color," and the fact that I now had three power settings instead of two: warm, low and high. Then, reality set in.  First, unlike the old crockpots, the newer models were not initially insulated.  Thus, if you had it cooking on high and inadvertently touched the outer part of the appliance, your skin would cook on high until you removed your hand.  This is a bit more frustrating that it sounds.  After decades of using an insulated appliance that one could easily move back a few inches on the counter without second-degree burns, this thing was more like trying to pick up a hot casserole dish with your bare hands.  A second con that took a little while longer to figure out is that the designers of the newer appliance apparently decided to save money by making the lid less-heavy.  Thus, if you're cooking something on "high," irrespective of the amount of liquid in the cooker, the lid "bubbles" up and down, depositing condensation in a pool around the appliance, across the countertop and down the side of your cabinets (depending, of course, on how long you're not actively observing it.)  This is a real problem and one that I never ever experienced with my old crockpot, even when filled to the brim.  Thus, I still have the new slow cooker for larger and supervised recipes.  But I went out the next week and bought a replacement for my antique model at Goodwill for when I really want something to work without constant supervision and a mess to clean up upon my return home.
