Our family room never seemed  to cool no matter what we did.It is a fairly large room and the heat seems to build up as the day wears on.  We made a decision that if we were to get any use from that room in the summer we would need to make some changes so we started looking around for options. A friend told us about her Haier portable air conditioner and how it had worked for her. It happens she had a similar situation so we decided to purchase the same type of unit that she had. The Haizer portable that we purchased comes with three cooling speeds as well as three fans that we can work interchagneable and allows  us to use the airconditioner or just the fans. A easy to read LCD display screen is on the top of the unit and it shows what you have the machine set on and we love being able to see exactly what the temperature is. This room now cools down quickly and we can enjoy relaxing in our favorite chairs. We feel it was a real bargain and it sure is nice to be cool and comfy.
