My daughter bought me the Pavillion 6330w  for an after Christmas present in 2007 and it has been working okay since.  The Vista program seems to be the problem and it takes a fit every once in a while and has to be sent back to a different date to be fixed.  I like to do surveys and it is very functional for that purpose and for searches and emails.  We have a tax business and have a hard time with the tax program getting installed on her Dell but it goes on to my hp with no problem and I can transmit easily.  The cost of the computer was reasonable and it is a good beginning computer.  It has good features and is great with Verizon dsl.  If I had to do it over again I would get another one.
