I will be using this product to iron some clothes but also to use when making curtains or some clothes and even some crafts that require an iron, this iron is light and easy to use, features steam or dry iron also has a self cleaning feature which is nice to have on an iron. I am impressed with it's big clear water window that you can see easily where the water level is , no trying to read a small window and it has an auto turn off in case the iron is left in the down position for extended period of time, has very long swivel cord also a temperature dial that turns easily from low to high temperature. This iron actually makes ironing pleasant and quick. Very impressed by it's lightness. On the downside preheat is slow it takes about two minutes to heat up, but all is worth it when it comes to all the functions this iron can do, and yes it can steam a garment hanging up on a hanger, what iron can function as a steamer this size, none I know of
