I got a Great States 815-18 18-Inch Deluxe Push Reel Lawn Mower to try not only be environmentally freindly but also to same me money on gas & maintenance of a regular lawn mower. Only thing is I did not know how much of a workout it would be to get my lawn cut. After about an hour in the hot sun I was ready to give up and it looked liked I had barely cut any of my lawn, it was even hard to tell where I cut it. I had to get my oldest son to finish it because I just could not handle the heat. The lawn looked decent after he was done but two hours later he really did not ever want to do that again. We only have 1/4 an acre worth of lawn so on something bigger you could be outside all day trying to get your cut with this thing. I am going back to the non-environmental gas kind as at least it only took 30 minutes to cut the whole lawn and did not leave you feeling exhausted, but that may have been more of the heat than pushing this thing but I really do not want to use it again to find out but might since I am not really wanting to buy a gas one after already paying for this one. I do not need this much exercise so I will just let the kids do it for me besides isn't that the whole point of having kids is to make them do work you don't want to do.
