Goop has been around a long time. I remember my Dad using it over 40 years ago when I was just a small child. It is something NO mechanic should be without. Also, if you work a lot with your hands and get their really, really dirty, Goop is what you want to clean them. While I don't know what the ingredients are, it works. You can have you hands completely filthy with motor oil, grease, or anything else you can get on them while working with tools, cars, etc., and if you rub a big scoop of Goop on them and then rub it in and all around, it will dissolve all those products. Just wipe off your hands, then rinse well with soap and water, and you'll be ready to start the day again with clean hands. It must have some type of enzyme that dissolves oils and grease, because that how good it works. Performance Excellent. Dissolves the thickest and dirtiest grease and oil and dirt on your hands and other parts of your body. It'll even get under your nails to get them clean, too. We keep this product right at the shop sink for everyone to use after work. Scent I don't remember it having much of an odor. It wasn't offensive, whatever the scent was.

I originally began using Goop Hand Cleaner as a hand wash after working on vehicles because it was so creamy and gentle on my hands. There are no abrasives in this cleaner like there are in similar hand cleaners and it does not irritate my skin or dry it out after continued use. Performance Good Multi-Purpose Hand Cleaner does an excellent job of washing away grime and grease on dirty hands, but it is useful all around the home as well. I have used it as a pretreatment on laundry with great success. Last summer I used it as a pretreatment on my horse's white tail in an attempt to remove the yellow staining. I had already tried the usual array of products, including the expensive shampoos designed for white hair on horses, but nothing was getting it to the bright white I wanted. I left Goop on the dry tail for around 20 minutes, rubbed a generous amount of shampoo into the tail and worked it in really well, left it for another 10 minutes, then came back to rinse everything away. I was amazed when the tail dried to a beautiful shining white. It did not dry out the tail or cause any irritation to the surrounding skin. Scent It has very little scent and is not offensive.

We use Goop Multi-Purpose Hand Cleaner all the time. The title highlights that it is a hand cleaner, but it cleans a variety of things! Goop is simple to use. Be sure not to wet your hands before you use it. They need to be dry. You should apply the Goop and rub it all over and into your hands/skin and during this process, it goes from 'goop' to a liquified substance! It removes a variety of things such as grease, paint, tar, ink, gum, and other similar substances from skin. Children can even use Goop-it is non-toxic! I love the fact that I can wash my dirty laundry with Goop. Simply apply Goop to stains on your clothing-when dry, and rub it in really well. Then, you should let it sit for 20 or so minutes prior to washing-for really deep stains, I leave the Goop on overnight. This is a tough, first-class stain remover! Love it! And, it's made in the U.S.A! Performance Goop is really easy to use, and removes tough substances like grease, gum, varnish, paint, tar, and more from your hands. It is safe-it's non-toxic! It also removes stains from laundry. I use it all the time.
