If there is one thing that drives me crazy it's have a piece of food stuck between my teeth. I love popcorn but when I eat it I end up with the skins from the kernels in my teeth. Trying to get it loose by rinsing your mouth is almost always ineffective so your choices are using floss or a toothpick. I had some individually wrapped disposable dental picks but the company that made them went out of business. That's when I started looking for another way to remove food from between my teeth when I was out of the house. The Floss To Go packets are extremely handy if you eat out a lot and end up with small pieces of food stuck between your teeth. If you have a missing tooth or partial missing tooth and get food stuck in a gab this isn't going to work as well as a toothpick. You can get the packets in a couple of different sizes but I always get the thirty count package because everyone uses them. The boys carry a couple in their backpacks and I try to keep a couple with me. The packets are individually wrapped so if you are tossing them in your purse, backpack or briefcase you won't have to worry about them being exposed to dust or dirt. For me this is a true perk because while it would be less expensive to just carry a roll of dental floss that's packaged in a plastic container, with the Floss To Go I know that each one is going to be completely clean and germ-free. The individual pieces are eighteen inches long so there's more than enough floss to clean your teeth or to get food out from between them. Always make sure that the used pieces are properly disposed of when you are done with them, no one wants to pick up a piece of used dental floss off the floor or have it stuck to their shoe.
