I am generally not a fan of scented beauty supplies but I will make an exception for this. The scent is very light and not overpowering when in use, and there is no scent after you are finished shaving.  I think this version is actually better on my sensitive skin than many other brands and formulations that are specifically designed for sensitive skin. I have not had any razor burn on my legs since using this product (and I live in a warm climate and shave frequently throughout the year). My legs are also very soft and smooth after shaving. Which is nice, because I don't always have time to apply lotion and I don't need to with this shave gel.  The foam that this product creates when applied is the perfect density for shaving. Too thin and it can cause nicks, too thick would make it hard to get a close shave. This is the Goldilocks of foams ("just right").  One complaint is that the can sputters when it is low and it makes it hard to get out all the product.

When I shop for a shave gel I usually go for something that will be me more bang for my buck. However I do prefer the shave gel as apposed to the foam. I feel like it goes on thicker and I can get a closer shave. I chose to buy Gillette Satin Care because it was reasonably priced. Once I decided that this was the product I was going to buy my next step was the smell test. I don't know about you but it matters to me whether my shave gel smells good or not. Whatever scent you choose sticks with you after you are done shaving. So, I opened the lid of each one and gave it a good sniff. I'm sure I looked a sight standing there smelling all these gels in the middle of the store, but I didn't care. I wanted to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. I finally got it down to two scents. This is where my darling hubby came in. I made him smell both and told him to choose. After all he would be the one having to be next to me. He was a good sport and he chose the lavender Kiss. Great choice! I love it! Now go out and exercise your senses!
