Gerber Second Foods are great in introducing fruits and veggies to your baby. My kids loved Gerber baby food. I would say their favorites were the bananas, all the desserts and sweet potatoes. The only ones I really had a problem feeding them were the Green beans and the meats. The 2nd foods and a four ounce bottle are the perfect amount to keep my little men full and satisfied for a few hours. By giving my babies Gerber second foods, I am giving them the nutrition they need to have a healthy growth development. I believe that Gerber brand foods are the number one baby food on the market today. I bought and fed Gerber baby foods to both my boys when they were babies and they turned out to be healthy and sturdy little boys. I would highly recommend trying and buying Gerber baby food for your little guy or girl. I think for most part you and your baby will be satisfied with Gerber foods.

I really like these Gerber nature select second food in all varieties because it gives my baby a variety of choices and they are all pretty healthy. These products have a good quality of ingredients. They are made with natural fruits and vegetables and they have all the special vitamins and nutrients that your baby needs. They are extremely safe. They have a difficult to open seal for younger children, and are in a container that babies can not get into. While my baby was using this i noticed that she really liked majority of the flavors they had. They were mixed and mashed really well and were smooth. They went in her mouth very gently and made it easy for her to swallow. I also really like this product because majority of them do not stain and come out of clothes with a few washes. These are good products to choose for your baby because it gives them just the right amount of nutrients and proteins in every container.

We started our son on Gerber 1st Foods, but quickly moved up to the 2nd foods as his appetite grew. The Gerber NatureSelect 2nd foods offer a greater variety of flavors and are a better value because there is more in a package. I suppose the texture might be a little thicker than the 1st Foods, but I can't tell much difference. We love that the Gerber baby food is packaged in plastic so it is easier to store in the pantry and I don't have to worry about breakage so I can carry them in the diaper bag. Plus our son has gone to daycare since he was eleven weeks old so I felt better about taking the plastic tubs of food there. We tried a few other brands, but we didn't like the glass packaging that most of them came in, and found Gerber to be more widely available in more flavors, so we eventually started feeding our son Gerber exclusively. I feel like the Gerber 2nd Foods made it easier to make sure he was eating a wide variety of nutritious foods and expanding his palate. We just tried to rotate fruit, vegetable and meat flavors and asked his daycare to do the same. He seemed to like almost all of the flavors, though he did get sick from the carrots so we just stopped giving him those. Our now eighteen-month-old son has moved on to table food and won't each much baby food anymore. He does still enjoy the fruit varieties like banana, apple and pear, so I feed him those as a nighttime snack. He thinks he's getting a treat but I know I'm getting some extra nutrition into his body without a lot of added sugar. I also feed him Gerber 2nd Foods when he has a stomach bug so he can ease back into eating solid food and get some nutrition. I've also eaten them when I feel sick as they are easy on the tummy.

I've had two kids and have bought many kinds of baby food. I prefer Earth's Best because of its superior, organic ingredients, but if I have to buy regular, non-organic baby food, **Gerber NatureSelect 2nd Foods (All Varieties)** is what I buy. Quality of Ingredients Although Gerber NatureSelect 2nd Foods is not organic, they do contain minimal ingredients. For example, they contain: fruit/vegetable, water (for processing) and sometimes ascorbic acid (Vitamin C). I've seen another brand of baby food that actually had sugar as an ingredient and Gerber NatureSelect does NOT do that! Safety The puree is always the perfect texture and perfectly safe for all solid food-eating babies. Once my son got to the 2nd Foods stage, I generally added Happy Babies Organic Brown Rice Cereal to the baby food to thicken it up and give him extra nutrients.

I realy like Gerbers 2nd foods two pack baby food. The food has a good variety for baby and doesn't add a lot of unnecessary things to it. I love that containers as well. they are a hard plastic container that is easy to stack and store before use and for leftovers. They are also better for taking on the go. I feel better about carrying plastic containers in the diaper bag than having glass ones. I like the consistance of the food, it isn't too thin or thick. And when I add something to it still doesn't get too thick. I trust the Gerber brand, it has been around since I was a baby. I've never had a problem with it with all three of my children. it is labled nicely so that new moms can tell what level food their baby should be eating. And there is a level of food all the way up to toddler age, with the foods getting more and more ike adult foods. I think it's a great way to slowly introduce baby into eating as an older child.
