good for introducing solids!

These gerber banana cookies are great for babies to get accustomed to chewing solid foods. They are pretty soft and break down to mush if they nibble on the ends. They are shaped like a banana so they are easy to hold with little hands. They smell and taste great. They have a very soft texture and are made to fall apart easily so they do make a bit of a mess especially if they try to chew on it. They are a great snack for little ones. They are easy to find too and priced fairly. I

My son loves these!

I just started my four month old son on baby food and cereal in his bottles. Wasn't sure if he would like these cookies at first. But, he absolutely loves them! They are super messy though. My son sucks on them and just really seems to enjoy these cookies. When he sucks on them little pieces break off so I would just be a little careful with that. They also get all over his clothes. But, that's kind of expected when feeding babies. These cookies smell really good to. They come in cute shapes with a nice texture to them. My sons teething and I think he likes the feeling of the cookie on his gums. I'll definitely continue to buy these cookies for him. I would recommend them if your starting your baby on solids. You gotta love Gerber products. The only thing I don't like is the boxing they come in. I wish they came in a container. Safety I watch my son with these because they do break off into smaller pieces and I just want to be careful he doesn't choke.

**Gerber Graduates For Toddlers Banana Cookies **are small, banana shaped cookies that are fortified with vitamins and minerals.  They are easy for toddlers to chew and taste good too! These cookies smelled so good, I actually had a bite of one.  The flavor was good, but they weren't as crunchy as I like my cookies to be.  They kind of tasted stale, but I am sure they are that way so they break down better for little mouths to swallow them. I like that these cookies are enhanced with "VitaBlocks Nutrient Blend".  The Vitablocks fortify the cookies with: calcium, iron, vitamin E and zinc.  I also like that these cookies are flavored with real banana and not artificial flavors.  They have: banana flakes, banana puree concentrate, natural flavor and banana essence - whatever that is.  The only thing I don't like about these cookies is that fructose is the second ingredient and sugar is the fifth out of a long list of ingredients. **The Scoop!** I will definitely buy **Gerber Graduates For Toddlers Banana Cookies** again since my son loves them and they are a little better than traditional cookies that aren't fortified with VitaBlocks.

Wonderful banana cookies!

I think these are the perfect baby cookie. They are like the arrowroot cookies in terms of texture and messiness (which by the way is very very messy!) but they have an added extra bonus, which is the fact that they taste like banana! I love the fact that these have added vitamins, and also banana flavoring that is natural. So many children's snacks nowadays contain a lot of added flavorings and these cookies have done it but in a natural way!  I also really love the shape and size of each cookie. They seriously are perfect for little hands and little mouths, at the same time, they're not too small that you would get worried about choking. They're also perfect for teething because they have enough length to reach the back of the gums where my son happens to be teething already!  I wish they could come in other flavors too, but for now these will definitely do because they're better than others out there!

These were ok, but we liked other treats better.

As I mentioned above, these were ok treats, but the banana was a little strong and overwhelming after a few of the treats----yes I ate a bunch too with my baby! :)  I like the cute shapes and they were easy to hold and of course tasted banana-y and seemed like a healthy snack , BUT they were also VERY hard cookies. I know they weren't stale because they tasted fine and weren't expired and I had just opened the box, but they just seemed like too HARD a cookie for my baby.  They had to really bite it, and overall it just seemed more like those horrible biter biscuits that make a huge mess!   We had some in the store so that's how I found out how messy they are!  I won't buy these again for all the reasons above, plus they are more expensive being GERNBER brand anyway!  I like other GERBER treats more, so we'll pass on these again and get what I like and what baby won't choke on.   The round cookies are so much better for that.

My toddler loves these!

My toddler loves these Gerber Graduates For Toddlers Banana Cookies.  As a kid who likes bananas, these are perfect for her!  They smell very much like bananas, and have a subtle banana taste.  I've eaten these and I like them okay, but my daughter will just eat them up!  The consistancy is a little mushy and less crisp than I'd like them to be, but it doesn't seem to bother my daughter. I think that these cookies make a great addition to a snack, and that they are fortified with vitamins and minerals.  They are perfect when dipped into yogurt or with fruit.  They are perfectly portable when put into a plastic bag, though a hard container is better since they do break easily. I've mostly used these cookies as a reward for potty training my daughter, and because they are still relatively healthsome, I don't feel bad about giving her a bunch throughout the course of the day.  I will be feeding these to my second baby once he gets old enough, and I'm sure he will love them too!
