Like most people, I owned a few wrenches that allowed me to do a few basic tasks around the home. Like most people as well, I also picked out the cheapest pack of wrenches whenever I went out to the store to grab that one wrench I needed for that one project. Without much thinking, I always assumed that this was the best approach, but unfortunately I was wrong. However, one day I received the GearWrench 20PC Combination Ratcheting Wrench Set as a gift, and I am so grateful that I did. These wrenches not only get all the jobs done, they also are much more affordable than just buying random kits trying to find the cheapest one. The quality is great and I never have to worry about the wrench slipping. I love the kit it comes in, and how it holds all the wrenches in place. Since receiving the GearWrench 20PC Combination Ratcheting Wrench Set, I have no longer had to go on hunts to find that one missing wrench. These are not just regular wrenches. These wrenches also have a ratchet set on the other end. I love that they ratchet on top of being a wrench because it's like having two tools in one. They are a little more expensive than one or the other, but they are certainly worth it and more valuable in the end than buying both a wrench and ratchet set separately. Whenever my boyfriend and I are working on the car, I usually find that I end up needing both of these tools, so it's much more useful to have the multi tools available. These tools have several sizes available and range from 1/4 of an inch up to 3/4 of an inch. They also have a mm end with the ratcheting and can manuever and fit nearly anywhere. If I can get a finger or two into a space, I can usually fit my tools in and with very little effort, tighten and fasten nuts and bolts. This is a nice set to have and it comes with a warranty. It has a wide variety of options available so it usually has a good fit whether it's in standard measurements or metric. I love this neat set. I keep a lock on mine just in case because I've had too many tools disappear. This is simply a wonderful set to own and use.

I had never heard of the GearWrench company until I saw this set in the store. I had been wanting to replace my odds and ends collection of wrenches for awhile, but really hadn't foud what I specifically wanted in the price range that I wanted utnil I came across this set. I am glad that I bought this set, it has a wrench in it for just about every project that you could need one for. The size differences in between the different wrenches is great. I have used almost every single one of my wrenches which makes the investment in the set a good decision for me. I have gone through and used a lot of different tools from a lot of different brands in the past, and these wrenches have handled everything that I have thrown at them, and held up well without getting banged up, rusty or breaking, which I have actually encountered using other wrenches. This is an awesome set of wrenches, I love mine, and I would recommend it for anyone who is looking for one set of wrenches to handle all their wrench needs.

I didn't have a clue as to what type or brand of wrench set to buy and really only decided by cost. I;m not sure how it happened but it appears that I made a good choice. Gear Wrench ratcheting wrench set makes it easy to tighten bolts and nuts of all sizes and models. I had dropped a bolt and wasn't sure how I was going to be able to tighten it up in such a small place, but it turned out to be a quick and easy fix. The heads are slim on the wrenches and that makes it easy to tighten bolts and nuts of all sizes. This set came with twenty wrenches which gives more than enough wrenches to find one in the right size. The finish on these wrenches makes it easy to wipe them off before putting them away and I have found them to be extremely helpful when I tackle those chores that my wife always seems to find for me to do. These wrenches are a good solid metal and I would be glad to recommend them to friends and family.

These are a must have for any household. I like to buy Craftsman because they have a lifetime guarantee. These are pretty durable, just like all Craftsman products. In my opinion, these are some of the best wrenches on the market and you don't have to worry about stripping bolts when using these. Also the grip is perfect with these as they have never made me slip like other wrenches have in the past. I've used other cheaper products and have been very disappointed in the grip and durability in them. I received these for a Christmas gift last year and they were the best gift I received that year. If you're looking for the perfect gift for a person that is hard to buy for, I suggest this Craftsman GearWrench set. As long as you own these you won't have to purchase another wrench. You never go wrong when you buy a Craftsman. The only problem I have with Craftsman is that some of their products are being made cheaper, and some are no longer made in the U.S.A. I'm not sure if these were or not. However, they're not made cheap and are the best wrench set I own.

This is a great set! My father got them for me a few years back for Christmas. I was skeptical at first because I wasn't sure how often I would really use them. I have since learned that this set it awesome! I have found so many different uses for them. With 20 different sizes I'm almost guaranteed to have the size I need with this set, no more running to the hardware store in the middle of projects. Or worse, when you run to the hardware store and then realize when you get back that you still have the wrong size, or you buy a couple different sizes and have to return the ones that didn't work. This set has held up well and even through storage in the garage and use for all different projects. I would totally recommend this set for someone, it's practical and versatile for many different projects and it holds up well to rough use. The only problem that I really have is trying to keep all 20 pieces together.

My husband and I have owned this GearWrench 20 piece set for quite some time. We purchased a lot of new tools when we bought our house a few years ago. I use these wrenches occasionally, and my husband uses these tools often. They have held up very well and look brand new. My husband has told me they are excellent ratchets. I don't have anything to compare them to, so I will take his word for it. The only complaint I have about this ratcheting wrench set, is that it could use one or two larger sized wrenches in the set. There has been only one situation that we needed this large size wrench. This was last month when we put in a new toilet in our master bathroom. I don't feel that this is a deal-breaker with this set, however, because 99% of the time it has the sizes my husband and I need. I would recommend this set to anyone needing a quality ratcheting wrench set, especially to females who may not have much experience with tools.

I have been using the GearWrench 20PC Combination Ratcheting Wrench Set for the longest and they haven't failed me yet. The best thing about these wrenches is that the ratchet side does a great job of not stripping bolts. On two occasions the bolt I was trying to loosen broke because the grip of the ratchet didn't waver under extreme pressure. The open end side of the wrench is decent, but I have experienced too much slippage when trying to loosen and tighten bolts. The main reason why I use these wrenches is because their excellent at getting in to tight spaces. I have been able to work in tight space and not have to worry about cutting my hands up or dropping a socket nut. My only complaint about this wrench set is that they didn't come with a case. It's not a big deal because I had a large tool box, but I would have liked to kept them separate. I would definitely recommend the GearWrench 20PC Combination Ratcheting Wrench Set because they are reliable and space conscious.

It is absolutely necessary to have a set of these GearWrench 20 PC Combination Ratcheting Wrench Set that comes in both standard and metric measurements. These are a great addition to the basic tool set a person would keep in the house or car. There are times when the space is too small to get a socket in to do the job and fix the part. These ratcheting wrenches eliminates the need to try and use a socket. The toggle switch on the wrench makes it easy to reverse the direction of the tool when you need to which would tighten or loosen the bolt or nut. The wrenches are easy to hold on to. They are also easy to keep clean. I did not find any slippage in either the gear mechanism or the handle itself when I used them. i have found these wrenches to be very durable and the return policy and warranty can not be beat. They are definitely a great investment in completing a basic tool kit set up.

Before I purchased the GearWrench 20 piece Combination Wrench Set, SAE/MM, I didn't even know what a wrench was. Yet, we were always seeming to need one in our home. By the time I secured one from the neighbors, it was usually the wrong size. So in my effort to keep my neighbors and husband happy, I found this set from GearWrench. He and I absolutely love it! This 20 piece set has every wrench that you could possibly need for virtually any job you could do around your home (and more). I love that it is so compact though. I do wish they sold a carrying case with it. Now, my neighbors get to ask me to borrow a wrench. We are not huge DIY people, but whenever we have the time and ability, we'd much prefer to fix or repair things ourselves. This set has empowered us to rely less on contractors as we hone our fix-it skills. The sizes are clearly marked on each wrench, so for projects that specify the size needed, using this set is a breeze!
