When I purchased this laptop, I was looking for a powerful, yet affordable machine to use while finishing up my graduate studies.  The computer  has served its purpose for the most part.  The wide screen is very helpful when typing papers and working with large Word documents.  I love the built-in webcam and the large hard drive capacity.  The processor is also powerful enough to support quick multi-tasking between applications.  The major drawback of this computer is its physical construction.  It is not very durable.  The hinge which attaches the screen to the keyboard was damaged significantly after the laptop was accidentally dropped (inside a case) to the ground from a few feet off of the ground.  I've also already lost a key from the keyboard after only having the laptop for about 6 months.
