I have always wanted a fire pit. When I moved into my current house I was so excited because I could finally get one. We have lived here a few years and finally we had the opportunity to totally redo our back patio, sea wall, and deck area. So since we were going to redo the whole thing, I said that I wanted a fire pit, finally! We went looking and found this one. It happened to be the perfect size for what we were looking for. I wish the stones looked nicer, but oh well. It does look nice out there though, and it looks nice with the furniture and planters and whatnot that we purchased for out there. I think it will hold up pretty well in the years to come. I wanted to avoid one that was completely metal, as I live on the water and the whole thing would just rust. This one only has the metal on the top part that goes over the fire, so at least that part I can bring inside. It is really easy to clean. You just scoop out the old crap, throw in some new wood, and you are off and burning again!

I have recently purchased and now own this Garden Oasis Slate Rock Fire Pit and I have found that I truly do love it. This fire pit is a great invention. This is good for people living in the country or living in the city. First of all I love that you use real wood in this fire pit. There is nothing like the smell of real wood being burned that reminds me so much of the campfires I had when I was younger. This fire pit also keeps us very warm in the cold weather so we are not confined to the indoors all winter. It burns evenly and it is also good for roasting marshmallows and we also roasted hot dogs. My husband just loves this fire pit being that he is a man and there is something about fires that men just love. The price is a little steep but it was well worth it to me because I have definitely gotten a lot of enjoyment out of it. It is very easy to clean you just scoop out the ashes and dump them and add fresh wood. I would certainly recommend this to all of my friends and family.

My husband loves building fires, especially in the summer months. Since we have been together I've always picked at him by calling him a fire bug, because he loves sitting around an open fire. I enjoy late nights sitting by a fire but the safety of my youngest daughters worried me. I bought this fire pit as an alternative to the open fire that we grew accustomed to. It is a must have for those who enjoy sitting by a fire. The build is high quality, it has a mesh top that stops sparks from flying out of the pit. We use it very often and once the fire gets going it heats and gives off a warm heat for hours. My family spends a great deal of time outside at night, and I feel much better about having my children around a fire in this pit. I have found that cleaning it isn't too much trouble, the ash can be scooped out, and putting wood in the pit is simple. One of my favorite things about it is the fact that it can be moved if needed. No more open fires in this household, this is a much safer alternative. I love inviting company over to hang out around it.

My entire marriage my husband has always wanted a fire pit. He's a very outdoorsy kind of guy, but with where we live going hunting and building big campfire's is not possible. So a fire pit is his consolation. We use our fire pit a ton, especially in the summer. It's perfect for roasting marshmallows, which we probably do too often. I love that it has a grating cover over it to help protect against the flames. The base of the fire pit is made of stones and the whole thing looks a little like a chimney. Which I love. I think it looks so good it's always getting compliments. It's sturdy and doesn't get ruined through a snowy winter. We leave ours outside in all weather and it's never gotten ruined or rusty. In fact it pretty much looks and works exactly like it did when it was new. I love this fire pit, it has turned our backyard from something we have into something we use. We are out there all the time now, gathered around our fire pit.

I am in love with our new Garden Oasis Slate Rock Fire Pit. When we decided to renovate our backyard to make it an outdoor living space, this fireplace was the first thing that I picked out. A fireplace was a must and the Garden Oasis Slate Rock Fire Pit was the exact thing we needed. The outside and the base does not get too hot and we are able to host multiple people to gather around it's warmth in both summer and winter. We leave our fire pit outside and after multiple seasons, it is practically in the exact same condition as when we initially purchased it. In addition, the Garden Oasis Slate Rock Fire Pit is easy to use and turn on / off when operating. I am not worried about accidentally burning myself or not being able to get the fire pit lit. The feature that I am most excited about with the Garden Oasis fire pit is the solid cage over the flame that is not only keeping unwanted things out but has held up to multiple fires over the years and shows no deterioration or rust.

We absolutely love this fire pit. I have three boys and they are always wanting to build fires in the summer time to roast marshmallows and weenies. The fire pit that we used to have was not near as nice as this one. We ended up having to toss our old one because the bottom of it fell through. I love that this fire pit has the stone look and it really looks upscale. It goes great with all the rest of our patio furniture. I can already tell that this fire pit is far more durable than our old one and that we will not be having the same issue out of it. The cover on the top is great for when you just want to watch the fire and stay warm beside it. It is a great safety feature that I especially appreciate because I have three young children. This fire pit did not take long to assemble and was easy for me to do by myself. The only reason I gave this fire pit a rating of 9 is because of the cost. It is one of the more costly fire pits so it may not be a good fit for someone with a tight budget.

I love entertaining guests with the garden oasis slate rock fire pit! The fire pit looks very good next to the other lawn furniture that I have! It did not take me a long time to assemble the fire pit, which was nice. The base is made of a sturdy material that is not cheap looking. The that covers the pit is also made of a higher quality material, and it has not broken since I have owned it. I have owned this fire pit for three years along with my patio furniture and the high quality has kept the fire pit like new! The design of this fire pit keeps the heat coming and keeps the sparks from flying at you with the grate on top. I have made a lot of fires using this pit and it has not damaged the fire pit at all, which I wrote about before with its durability. The only feature that I think would be nice is an attachment at the bottom that slides out to clean the ashes. I had a hard time cleaning the fire pit, but I would still highly recommend this for entertaining!
